The Vortex 40 Day Special - Pop Extravaganza

Hi Stackers.

Background:
I have been on and off on the forum, been in AM for many years but not IN AM i.e. I never had campaigns that were successful enough to make it work. I'm relatively tech savvy, have lots of experience (on Facebook I have spent (for other people) in the region of $30 m. But like all of us, I want the independence, to be able to run the gauntlet on my own and live the proverbial dream (i.e 20 hrs a day grinding :P )

Where are we:
I am pretty solid on sourcing new offers, setups, traffic sources etc.. so I have skipped to Day 5, 2018 guiide (https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-ACTION-Part-2)

Day 1.
I am launching chrome extension offers, Direct,
GEOS. Turkey, Pakistan, South Africa
Payouts range from 0.10 - 0.9
Source: Propellor Ads
Optimization: Smart CPM
Tracker: Voluum.

I am going to try and set up as many offers as possible in the $10 phase hopefully that will give the best chances of finding something with potential .

Turkey is the only country so far that has hit the $10. here are the results:

I will post an update tomorrow.

Sounds like you have a lot of experience! It's always nice not having to start from scratch.

I wouldn't use that spreadsheet for pop.

Pop is all about quick testing and optimization and scaling - need to be very efficient. Whereas that spreadsheet is too accurate and not efficient enough.

Also: That spreadsheet can only be applied to something like placements, not entire campaigns - because you can CHANGE circumstances when it comes to running a campaign, for example cut placements and perform other optimization, which can significantly change the campaign's conversion rate.

Having said all that though: Based on your stats, this particular campaign does look pretty hopeless - unless you can drill down to various traffic segments to find smaller pockets of gold.

Lastly: There's a more convenient way to post an image - use lightshot to do a screen capture, upload it to imgur.com, and copy/paste the bbcode link into here. That way you'll have images show up nice and big.

If direct-linking is your thing, you can try push smartlinks - I just wrote a tutorial on that which will be published later this week. Check out mobipium and clickdealer and peerfly. Payouts are very low (around $0.03-$0.20) but conversion rates are VERY high, because all a visitor needs to do to convert is click on the "Allow" button on the push notification popup.
