Speed page optimization

So I made a big progress in the 40 days vortex (thanks Amy u r the best !!)
Now speed optimization time, the page load in 1.7s which is a lot, it’s just a sweeps with wheel.

When I measure the page speed in gtmetrix.com it asks me to enable compression for the following resources to reduce their transfer size by 72%:
Compressing https://domain.com/js/jquery.min.js

And same link with /Style.css

What should I do? Compress the landing page folder with zip before uploading it to AWS ?

I will appreciate ur help guys, thanks ))

Haha no it doesn't mean zipping. Can you post a link to your lander here? Or upload the lander files and post the link here - I'll do a check and take a look.

Alternatively: Google "how to enable gzip compression on cloudfront" and do some reading and testing.

so the first answer i found on google was talking about allowing compressing automatically in AWS cloudfront, I'm gonna test it again in gtmetrix after the statut is deployed.
with minifier.org i have only a small space saved after minifying, but what should I do next? should i copy and past it somewhere ?

I didnt know how to write threads in STM until now, I ve been following the 40 days Vortex training, and I have progressed and learned a lot, I will post soon a good article talking about my journey so far ))

Yes - you should replace the original code with the minified code. But please save a copy of the original file first - if the minified code breaks the lander, you can always revert to the original file.
