Struggling for traffic in exoclick

Hi Everyone,

I am struggling for traffic while using exoclick. Please see the screenshot below, I am at number 1 position as suggested by pop up in below screenshot but still getting very little traffic. Till now I am majorly using Traffic Junky and Traffic Factory which are completely different. May be that is the reason, I am not been able to understand exoclick properly.

Try to increase your bid. Top CPM is not very accurate on Exoclick.

Indeed, as posted above, the bidding tool in exo isn't working the best and it's often far from accurate. So raising the bid can help for sure.

Another thing are those labels, try a few different banner types, that might open some new zones for you.

Next is the site targeting, did you select just a few sites, or the whole RON?

How about targeting, could that be limiting you in some way? Carrier, device, categories (did you select just some?) ...

Greece isnt the biggest GEO for sure, but there should be a couple millions of impressions available anyways.

Thanks Matej and Cristi. Please find below my comments:

Understood, will do that.

I have selected just a few sites. Do I need to select whole RON?

Yes I have selected just fewer.

If the sites you selected are not sending enough clicks, you might want to target the whole RON, but be careful, that can be a LOT of traffic and a lot of poor placements too. Starting with a selection of higher quality placements is a good idea.

This can limit your volume too, try to add more categories or targeting options.

I know the problem. You are not bidding high enough. $0.03cpm is very low and is why you are not getting traffic. In your screenshot it shows you selected "WebOS: Google" change that to Windows 10 and change the browser to Chrome. Now you see you need to bid $0.55cpm to get RON traffic.

Also note: Any premium placement (The ones that are going to convert the best) have a minimum CPM of $1.50 so by bidding below that you are excluded from all good traffic sources.

Where did you get this info from? $1.50 CPM is way to high IMO. Are you sure this is the case?

Little confusion: Will it be a good idea to target Desktop and Mobile devices in single campaign and select whole RON. Is it ok if mobile traffic will go to Desktop and vice-versa?

Nope, this is not a good idea. First of all, offers usually require a specific device, that's why you see different variations of the same offer. One for web/desktop, one for tab, one for mobile ... some offers take it all, but with dating it's rarely the case. The payouts for each device are also quite different, desktop pretty much always pays more than mobile.

Then there are the bids, they can be very different for mobile than for desktop. So if you target them both in one campaign, you won't be able to bid effectively.

I would suggest to always run separate campaigns for mobile/tablet/desktop.

Oh ok, but that's for popunders. So $1.5 per 1000 POPs, that's a different story. Rajiv is doing banners.
