With Bitcoin back above $8000 and hopefully altcoins soon to follow, crypto is starting to heat up again.
The BTC halving is in May 2020 and there is a really good chance we'll get another (and much bigger) boom, which means mass retail interest once again.
The infrastructure and compliance side is coming online in a big way that will allow much more investors to enter the space (as well as investors who never got involved due to risks and non-compliant exchanges). BAKKT, Fidelity digital assets and potentially a Bitcoin ETF will change that (as well as exchanges like Gemini and Coinbase).
