Propeller Push - major retro disapprovals, inconsistencies

00:00 - ads submitted
00:05 - ads approved
04:45 - ads retro disapproved
05:15 - retro disapproval reason resolved, ads re-submitted
05:20 - ads re-approved
09:10 - ads retro disapproved AGAIN
09:20 - retro disapproval reason resolved, ads re-submitted
09:25 - ads re-approved
13:45 - ads retro disapproved THIRD time
13:50 - retro disapproval reason resolved, ads re-submitted
18:45 - ads re-approved
19:20 - ads retro disapproved FOURTH time

roughly what we have been dealing with for the past 3-4 days. seems every time a new moderator's shift starts, they want to retro disapprove as much as possible. maybe have some kind of quota. it's getting quite ridiculous, the number of retro-disapprovals indicate their policy team has no idea what they are doing.

anyone else having similar issues? this is on sweeps campaigns which are running identically fine on 3-4 other push networks. i should also mention this is specifically for propeller PUSH and not POPs

Frustrating.

A lot of these traffic source, unfortunately, have a bad reputation for apparently stealing campaigns and running internally (from what i've heard, not saying this is the case, just saying that it's a suspicion that's been around for a while, especially if you're posting back to them).

Not suggesting that's what's going on here, but it may be something to consider..

Do they give you a reason why you're getting disapprovals or is it just generic?

Yes! Oh my god I'm so fed up with it at the moment. I'm facing the exact same thing with my push campaigns on propeller. The rules have changed so dramatically seemingly overnight.

They made a change to their acceptance policies, this was announced a couple of weeks ago inside your account.

The new policies went live on the 6th of May.

Here they are: https://help.propellerads.com/advert...the-6th-of-may

Very strict.

Every network will have its own rules. What works on one network might not get approved on the other.
It looks like you have an element that is borderline, which might explain why every mod has a different opinion on the approval. Are you using brand logos?

Try to hit up your Rep. He might be able to atleast give you insight as to why this is happening. They have been changing things quite frequently over there.

On another note, I would also suggest to not postback conversions to any of these sources as most of them have an internal media buying team.

They started to enforce their new policies.

Facing issues as well.

I think it will take few days, until they know what they want to approve and what not.

Sometimes I resubmit the ad with the fixes, then they find another mistake and sometimes the same thing just slips through.

Not happy with these changes, but we have to adapt.

(funny thing is that I still see stuff they not approve on spy tools, so people are still getting through or they are simply running it internally..)

Hi
@eurosen is right. We've recently updated our Policy rules for all ad formats:

- Rules for Push Notifications campaigns - http://bit.ly/2vmOa9d
- Rules for Native Ads campaigns - http://bit.ly/2GIKLZ2
- Rules for Onclick campaigns - http://bit.ly/2vm8gAu
- Rules for Interstitial campaigns - http://bit.ly/2GM5lYB

There may be some problems with moderation due to the changes, we're sorry for that. In case you face such issues please contact us via the live chat or Telegram - https://t.me/propeller_club. We'll try to fix this asap.

We are not the one of "lot of traffic source" who has bad reputation and who steals campaigns. Every trusted traffic source is interested in people who will buy this traffic. There is no internal media buying team at PropellerAds for the same reason. Why?

If you have such a theory, then be so kind to share proofs. Yes, we've read that this is someone else's opinion, and it is absolutely unfounded.

Regarding the reason of disapproval.

Now all our advertisers will be able to get a detailed reject reason report for every new campaign that will not pass moderation. To see the full report you will need to click the tooltip right next to the campaign status - http://bit.ly/2IVa7UU.

@12as26, is your issue solved? Are your campaigns approved now?

Please send me your ID in PM (email). We'll check what was wrong manually. Thank you!

I also had such problem.

Yesterday I created a campaign that got declined becaue of the big image.

I then deleted the image and disabled the affected creative.

The campaign then got approved and was running.

Today it got rejected again because of the icon from the disabled creative.

The creative was not even active and was not running in the campaign so it shouldn´t matter at all.

The problem is that you can´t delete creatives so I have to put a dummy icon for the disabled creative to keep the campaign running.

This!

I don't understand, why you can't delete the creatives.

First of all, I never accused you guys of ACTUALLY doing it, I said it's a suspicion that's been around for quite some time. And yes, propellerads a long with every other pop source out there has this stigma (I've been around for 8 years so I've heard it all).

inconsistency is every day occurrence on push, on all push sources

best remedy is to always launch similar ads as your best ones every single day
