When I started E-commerce/Drop shipping , I was told one thing:
"Start a general store and get a profitable product, once you have a promising product, open a new store with it"
I have gone with the plan and have a niche which I believe is profitable. But the problem is this feed is connected to
Google Merchant
Google Ads(Concern: Account history could be deleted if I change product link)
Have any of you us being in this path before? How do you take a profitable product/products from your general store and create a new store out of it without messing up Google Merchant or Google Ads account?
I might be wrong in the approach, I am unsure. Please share any information that could get me moving in the right direction.

There are several options here,
If the general store is majority aimed towards these products, you could keep the store going and redo the face of the store and brand it and change domain so that all the "connections" such as google ads remains running as you change the branding and copy and then domain name.
The other option is new store with new connections and slowly import negative keywords and other things which could be a good chance to a/b test as well as try new strategies.
