strange trend + no network scrubbing to blame! (5)

Hi guys...

I am really stuck here. I have been trying to figure this out but no luck. Something STRANGE is happening and I don't know what to do.

Basically, I have been running a campaign on lead impact to collect emails.

• at the beginning of my campaign, i have been getting some good response and conversions (email optin)
  
• i then paused the campaign to make adjustments as needed
  
• when i unpaused the campaign, everything resumed as normal except the i am no longer getting conversions. i am talking about ZERO email optins after running thousands of views

what is strange is...

i have a mouse movement and clicks tracking script that runs and the script registered there is typing and i am seeing on the video people are clicking on the submit button.

however, for some odd reason i am not seeing anything come through on aweber.

the best part is... since this is going to my own aweber list, there is no one to scrub me from getting these emails.

--> i have tried my pages on many different browsers and they work as they should...

the only thing i can't test is seeing the actual popups from lead impact installed toolbar browsers.

i just installed the program (on IE) from clickpotato.com but i am not seeing any pops. i also tried installing from hotbar.com but their installation file is not working for some reason.

is there a way i can test popups that come from lead impact for my own landing pages to try and find out what the problem is?

then all of the sudden, ZERO response?

thousands of views and not even one email, after the same pages & the same targets have gotten response?

i also just set the individual frequency cap to 1 every 7 days... so i shouldn't be popping up in front of the same people over and over again

in summary:

1. I'm still getting traffic from LI
2. I have multiple analytics telling me nobody has opted in
3. I see no optins at aweber
4. BUT I know users ARE typing in something, and hitting submit button
5. I know the forms are working when I tried them myself
6. I know I DID get optins previously.

So...
1. LI is delivering the page to the traffic (since they are serving the page, it's not LI)
2. People are submitting something (the pages do convert according to clicks tracking)
3. Aweber is not recording any optins

seems like it all points to Aweber as central to the problem

Drop out Aweber, and just post to your own php page which saves the email in a file or ads it to a db.

Just to eliminate your own scripts and sources as the root of the problem.

^^ what Tijn said... and also maybe there's something wrong with the aweber code, meaning... did you just use the javascript link for the form or did you copy over all the html and css and all that... if you did the second one then check to make sure you didn't accidentally erase anything, or mess up and of the code.

yeah, might have to do that...

i did go through every page manually to make sure I could optin myself

i tried the pages with different email addresses and they all were successful when I tested them.

next step is to put up another page with my own scripts to collect the emails... damn, but without collecting them straight to an autoresponder, it will be hard to mail
