Frome Zero to One in My Affliate Road: Get First Conversion

Hello STMers,
This thread is where to motivate me to comeback after a long time leaving AM.
In the past, I run some campaigns but never see green on any of them.
Today, I'm back and really want to see first conversion again. I think that is the best feeling for all newbie like me.

I saw many advices that newbie should start with push and sweepstakes so that's I choose

Below is what I have:

Like the title, if I can get first conversion on this journey, I will be happy no matter how much I spent, just kidding :P

Now I'm waiting for approval process, then I will update.

Sorry, English isn't my first language so if you see any ambiguous sentences, let me know.

Push and sweeps is a good combo, clickdealer is a solid network... so you got the basic setup sorted

In case you need help with something, just ask, we are here to help.

Hi, I'm back.

After all approval processes are finished, I started to send traffic to offers.

The goal of this run:
- Make sure tracking works fine.
- Have a quick overview about push traffic.

What I did:
- Selected 3 offers from 3 countries that are easy to convert: Samsung Note 9, iPhone X, iPhone XS (replaced Amazon Gift Cards, not allowed on Zeropark).
- Made LP, but you can think it like direct link because this LP does almost nothing.
- Made 3 campaigns, tried to use only one creative style for 3 campaigns

The results:

- SS Note 9 CR: 0.5%
- iPhone X CR: 0.62%
- iPhone XS CR: 0%

My thought:
- Tracking works well.
- There are good traffic on Zeropark.

My next plan:
- Stop iPhone XS
- Focus on creative and landing page to increase CR.

My questions:
- I spied and saw some guys are using creatives with titles and descriptions such as "You're selected to win...", "You've won...". On their LP, there are things like that too, and some fake information about other winners. Do the advertisers accept it?

Any your replies would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't run push myself so will refrain from commenting in that area. Nice start by the way!

Regarding landing page angles though, there are 2 potential concerns: 1)whether the aff network / offer owner would be fine with it, and 2)whether the traffic source would approve it.

For 1) you can check with your aff manager. For 2) you can either check with the traffic source's support, or simply submit a campaign that uses such lander to see if it'll get approved. (Disclaimer: Always read the traffic source's rules on landers/creatives before doing so - just to avoid submitting something that is very frowned upon by that traffic source, to avoid getting your account banned.)

Best of luck and have fun!

Thanks for letting us follow-along!

As Amy mentioned, the rules are specific to every network and advertiser. Some networks are pretty lenient and will let you use pretty much everything, some are banning brand usage and pure lies on the LPs. It's up to you what path you decide to take. Obviously, the more you push the envelope, the better it's gonna convert, but the higher the risk of losing an account or not getting paid. Affiliates that use the blackhat approach usually resort to cloaking.

You need to get creative and come up with a copy that's both heating up the audience and wanting them to signup, but at the same time stay withing the accepted range of compliance. Might be a hard task at times, but it's possible
