Policy: Implying personal traits
Recently I have most of my ads in the financial sectoer rejected because of not complying with the policy about implying personal traits. The problem is, I have ads with text like:
"Loans up to $10,000"
I can't understand how that is implying personal traits. Also, I've had ads like these for over a year with no problems.
Has anyone noticed this recently? Have they made some algo stricter recently? I'm having trouble coming up with copy that they won't reject.

I can imagine "Loans up to 10.000" might be tricky because of housing/credit (prohibited content), but then "personal traits" are irrelevant ofcourse. I can imagine you use more wordings in the ad, right? Or perhaps the image has certain personal traits in it?
But often FB is just randomly kickin' and I doubt the reasons they give are always relevant/justified. Re-check your whole funnel and see what might cause the problem...

I got desperate and tried just that very text in the headline and other fields. Still got rejected. Then I tried other images and finally got accepted with a totally unrelated image of a woman. All images with cash or people in an office got rejected.
To make things more interesting, I appealed and after a wait got all the previous ads accepted as well. So it seems that either a bot algo has been cranked up or some low level reviewers have been told to err on the side of caution.

I can imagine FB doesn't like images regarding money/finance, but still I think it's quite unjustified how they treat some accounts/mediabuyers/agencies. At the other hand, if you are so big and have to deal with loadssssssss of bullshit on Facebook I can imagine you just secure as much as possible, and when people appeal (they probably have all the reason) Facebook will react a bit more subtle and relaxed.

I guess that's what's happening. FB has been getting in to a lot of trouble lately with their actions and what they allow on their platform. They probably reject more ads now just in case. If someone has a legitimate ad they will appeal, and the people who tried to slip by something shady won't appeal.
