I'm here at STM mainly because I got a local online casino deal lately (company shares), and TBH no idea how to deliver.
I've got digital marketing experience for about 8 years now and I'm pretty fluent with FB Ads/Youtube Ads but none of these other traffic networks. I'm much more focused on funnel building... and this "AM world" is really a whole new world to me (minimizing CPC v.s. maximizing LTV of customer) - lol I don't even use an external tracker but signed up for
Anyway I've got a few questions!
1) For direct deals like these they do not have any "affiliate networks" or do any postback/pixel conversion tracking. I have NO CLUE how to track conversions, the conversion flow goes like this:
AD -> LP -> (WhatsApp link - it's a phone messenger) -> 24/7 customer service closes the sale
I don't exactly need or think it's possible to have 100% accurate conversion tracking but I need something . Like for every click towards the WhatsApp link fire a conversion event that's worth $1-$2 maybe .
How can I achieve that with
2) How would I send postbacks from my own funnels?
So let's say I've got a funnel with 4 products ($25 > $100 > $50/mo > $197/mo for example).
What's the best way to be passing conversion data back to my tracker/traffic source? Do i even need to pass data to my traffic source?
All the tutorials/documentation mainly talks about working with affiliate networks so I'm kinda stuck here :/

BTW i'm using Voluum / PropellerAds at the moment . haven't decided on what to use for lander hosting yet (LanderBolt looks good)
chinese casino?
Let me clarify some things for you :
Informative reply from matuloo (as always).
Without a way to post conversions back, I don't even much use for a tracker.
The tracker will still tell you the CTR each landing page is getting, and even that doesn't mean much, as higher CTR does not always correspond to higher conversion rate.
If I was in your position, I would do this:
1)Run another affiliate offer - one that is from an affiliate network that does support postbacks - and choose an offer that's similar in nature to your current offer, i.e. casino.
It would actually be good to run a few to make sure you have a semi-good offer. Otherwise you'd be wasting money on cutting too many zones, and result in too little traffic left over.
Use that offer to cut zones that waste money but aren't profitable.
To track conversions, use a postback to either a)pass conversions to the tracker, or b)pass conversions to the traffic source (in which case you wouldn't even NEED to use a tracker).
2)After cutting the worst zones, start a nrw campaign to launch your "real" offer with those zones excluded. If that campaign isn't profitable, either start another campaign to launch the offer with just the best-performing zones, or identify more unprofitable zones by running the aff network offers further, then cutting those from your "real offer" campaign.
Basically use the aff network offer as your "seeing eye dog" to identify good and bad zones.
I haven't personally encountered this situation before, but this is what I would try.
Hope that helps!
Amy
