Funnel lead to banning? (6)

Funnel lead to banning?

Hi, GA gurus.

I had one ad disallowed for going to a lander that started priming the visitor for an crypto affiliate link two pages down the funnel. (My VA misunderstood my instructions - the page was intended for a Push campaign)

Having said that, I would love to get some Google Ads traffic to the funnel. How far down the funnel does Google care about?

If I don't mention crypto till, say, the second or third page of the funnel, would that be allowed?

Phil

Crypto isn't allowed on google ads. I'm not sure how deep google bot crawls landers but it would be really easy for google to find direct crypto content/links on page 2/3. Cloaking would work if done properly.

Good luck

Yup, you will have to cloak this. But make sure you educate yourself about cloaking before you start messing with it. It's a game of accounts, as even the best cloaking setup will get busted eventually, which will result in account loss.

Thanks guys, been off experimenting with Push, which is frustrating as camps die so fast.

Cloaking isn’t something I plan to get into just now.

What about setting up a generic squeeze page that talks about making money but doesn’t mention crypto? Would google bots get past that?

Frustrating for sure, yes. But push campaigns are so easy to setup, don't let it take you down. Just launch new campaigns frequently.

This is a hard call to be honest. In some cases, it will get flagged and a possible manual review would most likely mean the end as well. If you manage to stay under the radar, so not pushing much volume, it should fly for a while.
