What is good CPC to start for COD campaign on native ads(mgid)?

Hi,
I am newbie in CPA, I've been running COD campaigns for the past month, I get traffic for my COD weight loss product offers, using MGID as traffic source for my native ads campaigns with different angles, lander, teasers etc, after some optimizations I started to realize there is mistake from the beginning which is CPC, when I set CPC 0.15c I get traffic with some conversions, but when I set it to 0.05c I still getting traffic but no conversions anymore, so you will get traffic even when you set CPC to 1c, but the quality what matter, so to start testing campaign in the right way, I think you must bid higher as start then bid lower to reach good ROI after all, my question for experts is what the good CPC for tier 2 countries to start with?, that is good for your testing budget and enough to give you good data and stats to continue with your campaign.

Regardless of the country tier, some countries will have much higher competition than others.

I'd point that question to your traffic source rep. He should be able to provide you with average bids and CTRs.
i personally prefer to start campaigns on average or slightly below average bids unless i know i have a proven flow

In addition to the country you're advertising in, the device matters as well. Desktop is usually more expensive than mobile. You should probably test each device in their own campaign.

Probably one of the reasons you're seeing conversions at 0.15c vs. 0.05c is that advertisers have found publishers who convert and bid higher for their placements. The 0.05c bid traffic is probably from non-converting publishers.

You can test your bids by keeping a journal. Set your campaign bid (e.g. 0.10c), note when you started the campaign, and after a set amount of time (e.g. 1 week) note the results and raise the bid. That way, you have some idea how different bids will affect your profit.

Tier 2 bids can be all over the place, depending on the geo and device.

Go to ADD CAMPAIGN then find the blue TRAFFIC INSIGHTS button.
In the traffic insights section you'll see good opportunity geos as well as the average cpc for that geo/device. I would start campaigns 30% higher cpc then the average.

Do you have a traffic source manager at MGID? I highly recommend one if you don't
