What paid traffic for this type of content?

Hi Guys, i'm looking for cheap paid traffic sources to drive traffic to product based blog posts e.g. buyers guide like this: https://www.gearhungry.com/best-nerf-guns/

I'm currently testing out Facebook ads but want to find other potential sources.

What other paid traffic sources i should consider reviewing?

Cheers!

Hey,
you can try Native Ads with us. Just reach out to our AMs on Skype for some insights on best networks to test + volumes + eCPMs.
Thanks,
Justyna

We recommend the Taboola. Recently, we have very good experiences with them .

They also have solid support.

What about offers with pre-installed Pre-Landers?

You can try them, but in many cases, it's still better to use your own LP anyways, regardless of what the offer looks like.

Native could be an option, but as this is a specific product, you will need to find the right placements for it. Most networks do offer some targeting when it comes to interests/categories, so you might be able to find some good sources there.

I would also look at google adwords, you can try both the search (KW based) and their display network. Try to target websites that deal with toys, for example.

Another option would be youtube, toy reviews/unboxing is a rather huge niche on youtube, that should work decently.

PUSH is cheap, but it's working better with broad appeal products. But who knows, maybe you have some products that would work well there too.

Did you post about this before or was that someone else?

If you are monetizing the site through Amazon, I'm not sure if they allow third party traffic, nor would it likely be profitable with such low amazon commissions...

If you want to stick to Amazon, I would think you'd actually be better off creating a Youtube channel and then driving cheap search clicks on Bing to its videos to help it get a boost in the algorithm. You can even buy an 'aged' Youtube channel that already has good search metrics, then create some short videos that are relevant to nerf guns and then dial in the SEO using Tubebuddy or something similar.

Anyway its a gorgeous site and there's certainly other Amazon-affiliate-based sites just like it doing insane revenue, just wanted to throw in my .02$ before you spend any money on expensive ads. I believe most of the big amazon affiliates get their traffic organically or at most through Bing ppc or maybe Youtube ads.

Dan Brock on Youtube has a good channel on Amazon affiliate stuff, if you're not already aware of him. Definitely targeted towards beginners rather than experienced folks like yourself, but still, has some good info.

If you'd rather keep the style but switch monetization routes, check out GiddyUp and DFO, they have similar products but the setup is entirely different and you get vastly higher commissions than with Amazon (although granted with Amazon you get a commission on ANYTHING they buy that day, which is why it works so well with cheap high-volume traffic). Those are ones where you'd need a perfectly dialed in Advertorial, then you'd buy clicks and send them to it and hopefully get something like a .3 - 3% conversion rate (depending on device and geo) and an average of 20-60$ per commission.
