Since the offer isn't allowed there anymore I had to pause it, was running it on and off for about 2 months. Heres the stats:
I didn't use conversion tracking.

Stats:
Spent: $171
Revenue: $672
Bids: .01 cents
What I did in regards to keywords was take every keyword that was related to deals or was found on the groupon landing page and just added them in. Added in the english and translated versions. Also looked up for the most common words in that language to add in to see if that would get volume.
The creative I used is right here:

No lander all I did was direct link. Get back to hustling! On another note 50onred isn't exactly the most steady traffic source out there, has a lot of ups and downs.
Wow, that's a great ROI.
Nice case study man, thanks!
Yeah great ROI man.
Was that all the volume you could muster or did you purposely
set a small budget to test?
Great great case study.
I was doing daily deals in the UK on 50onRed and ROI wasnt as good due to the competition. But still profitable.
Running it on 50onred isn't allowed anymore, None of the groupon offers are
what country is this? sweden? if so, i dont see this available as a country to target in 50onred?
Yes it is sweden and sweden is at the top of the list.
Good work James, daily deals seems to be pretty popular there. This is a similar strategy that I took when I was running an international dieting offer, but I was linking to a lander first .. regarding keywords that is..
UK/US are hard to win I believe due to traffic quality fluctuating a lot there and the click costs.
