I was browsing through Adplexity and they include publisher IDs, traffic sources, landing pages, creatives, countries, etc. It's quite amazing how much data they have.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to think I can just rip an entire campaign, based on this data.
So what are the pitfalls of taking all this data and copying an entire campaign, down to the publisher ID, creative, landing page, and offer?
The biggest pitfall is that you might be copying a cloaked campaign, because many cloakers can detect spytools and route them to a "safe page" which is totally different from the real funnel.
The next one is: you never know who you copy, it might be just another newbie who is testing a funnel he ripped somewhere.
And the last big one: you never know the original targeting. So you can rip a good funnel, but the original affiliate that you copied, might have special targeting setup at the source, which makes the funnel profitable. But when you try to run it "broad" it might bomb.
I could definitely come up with more, but these are the 3 most important ones in my opinion.
