Facebook Page & Traffic Optimization Question

Hello,

Do you think it is a good idea to have a different FB Page for each vertical? I have one FB Page that I consider to be more of a "general" consumer protector type of page that I think can encompass numerous different verticals but I've heard from some people saying that FB will use the page likes to help optimize campaigns. Any merit to this? What do you guys usually do if you advertise on FB? Thank you!

Facebook Page & Traffic Optimization Question

For every vertical I create specific pages. Some I can use in more geo’s (Glamour Magazine), but mostly I do geo specific at least. This will also raise trustworthyness towards your potential audience ->higher ctr, lower cpc. Ofcourse it’s a bit more agressive too and surpassing policies regurarly.

Great Thread
@stickupkid, would you go as far as having a separate ad account, page and domain for the chosen verticle?

ie one ad account linked to one page linked to one domain in a certain verticle, never using a different page to send traffic to other domains from that ad account.

[one page and domain per ad account]

I'm doing this at the moment as a safety precaution and was wondering if it is necessary.

Would love to know if someone has long term experience with this.

We use per account one domain, with several different campaigns running (could be any geo). Thereby several FB pages on one account (could be a general page like Glamour Magazine, could be Easter Special UK etc). If you have enough accounts it's good to seperate every possible variable, so if one campaign/account goes down, others will not be harmed. All stuff you use on multiple accounts could be connected one day and brought down too.
