Great intro-post for your product, I totally LOVE when companies actually take the time to introduce and describe their products in such a great detail. Wish you all the best with your tracker and thanks for the generous offer for our members $29 compared to your official $69 rate is a nice discount indeed

Great intro Aaron.

Looks like you have an interesting product there, I have to take a closer look and study your features

Hey!
Thank you for your thread.
I see $39 instead of $29 https://take.ms/06PiL

This looks very interesting.

Is it integrated with Optimizer?

Sorry about that. The cost in the system was $29 but the promo code ad copy was $39. Fixed and thank you!

We approached them a while ago and didn't hear anything back so we just started working on our own. In the end it worked out because we began exploring TensorFlow for placement predictions which required our optimization to be a bit closer to home.

Eventually we'll have Kintura distilled down to a single big green "play" button. You just add your traffic sources and affiliate networks and it figures out the rest.

So would this mean you can do everything you can do with a tool like Optimizer from withing Kintura?

If yes, what is the timeframe for the implementation?

Our focus is on utilizing machine learning (you can call it deep learning or "AI") to automate maximizing ROI in every way imaginable. Generally speaking it should be a built-in replacement for Brax/Optimizer, yes.

I believe we're about 6 weeks from rolling that out with a handful of traffic sources. I will try to keep this thread up to date if anything changes.

Bumping this thread as we've just added too many features to list including Auto-optimization and proxy detection/routing. Should I update the original post or tack on updates as they occur? Very bad salesperson here. On top of this we are taking on a new media buying team every day and they are now asking to brand their tracker to hide that it's Kintura. While we love helping our customers, we don't do well in the exposure department because nobody wants to talk about their tools.

I would suggest to bump this thread when you have some update and just post it here. This way members will also see you are working on making the product better, they can track past updates and see you've been around for a while

Hi guys, does the optimization part support campaigns from PopAds specifically? Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else, I couldnt find it.

Can the optimization be done using the the reports by placement expense straight from PopAds, not from the numbers in the tracker? We see a lot of clickloss between PopAds and our current tracker, so we need the optimization to be done analyzing the expense amounts from the TS.

Right now we use The Optimizer for this, but having a one-stop solution like Kintura sounds pretty attractive, so I am ready to give Kintura a try if yes.

Hi and sorry for the delay. For some reasons I don't get notifications about STM replies to watched threads.

Our optimizer is not currently integrated with PopAds but I know there's a post-it for it in the backlog on our kan ban board.

It seems like every high volume Taboola buyer decided to hop onto our platform at once because of this Virtual Whitelisting thing we created. I don't know how word spreads when these people are so secretive but it does. And yes, like you say, it's a result of having a tracker + auto optimization under one roof. Your question is an excellent one because this is sort of the question of the day here. Our main focus now is on RTB manipulation so we're really starting to abandon any and all CPM pricing model campaigns so that may help you decide.

The issue for me personally is that these traffic source reporting APIs are extremely slow and impede media buyers' flow. They have restrictive (coarse) reporting time ranges, etc, and what you end up with is either accepting that you must hop around from traffic source dashboard to dashboard or suffer some inaccuracies in your tracker. Where this rears its head is in precise placement spend, bid surfing and of course any kind of highly surgical automation.

What we opted to do was a bit of a hybrid. Our system is continually generating coefficients to adjust visits and cost at the placement level. We are trying to balance accuracy with workflow and it's a challenge but it's still way more fun than working at Google.

We love talking to nerdy pops buyers but they're rare. We have some on our platform. As of now, I think Kintura is more of a science experiment. The main issue with these trackers is technical debt. When I get an email from Voluum saying "We have marks now!" it's like...man...now? So yeah, we didn't set out to build a Voluum clone and that was probably a terrible marketing decision but I don't regret a second of it.

You might want to stick with Voluum/Binom+TheOptimizer or check out LandingTrack -- seems similar but not sure what their scalability situation is like. If/when we add Popads I will post here! Feel free to hit me up via DM if you want to talk about any specific details.

-Aaron

Nice. I like Pops.

Someone should do a case study comparing the AI of Kintura with the AI of Voluum
