Aloha fellow marketeers!
I'm about to go balls deep into WH lead gen world using Facebook traffic.
I'm currently following Charles Ngo's Lead Gen engine course[aka Affiliate Marketing 2.0] and he recommends going into WH Lead Gen verticles such as auto insurance, auto refinancing, solar, real estate, education etc. while building out lists using pretty interesting methods.
My question to the super affiliates in these verticles is:
What are the most important considerations I should be taking into account when choosing one [or a few] of these offers?
Namely:
1. Payout amount?
2. Lowest EPC threshold?
3. Preferred WH verticle in the above categories and why?
4. And any other considerations whatsoever?
Would love to hear from a few affiliates that are running FB traffic to these kinds of verticles and making decent bank!
Hope you guys are crushing your week so far
The higher the payout, the harder to convert. Eventually EPC gives you the best indication (although most networks combine all traffic sources to one EPC shown). Ask your AM what avg EPC they see on FB traffic. For example e-mail and SMS traffic have a much much muchos higher EPC in general than FB and can give you a wrong indication of the shown EPC's in dashboards.
Let's say a solar offer shows an EPC of 0,15ct dollar in UK, you should calculate based on CTR of prelander, CR of offer, what CPC is needed with your FB ads to become at least break-even. Back to the 0,15ct, that's ofcourse very low and it will be quite a journey to make it profitable. Some offers show a 0,50ct + EPC which makes it much easier since you have some decent margin to play with.
Preferred vertical? Which of those verticals suits you best regarding knowledge/skills/interest/offer availability.
Last consideration, test test test! :-)
Thanks for the reply @stickupkid .Will consider those things when choosing the offer to today.
