Every month I'm running more advertorials not just because of the instant revenue, but because I noticed these advertorials boosts ranking for my money pages.
What's even better is that advertorials are ranking very well which means I'm generating sales even when the advertorial is not on the homepage. It makes sense because news portals with tons of fresh and unique content are for Google very authoritative website.
That said, I'm always looking for magazines in my niche in different geos and this service make this process so much easier.

So your paid traffic is helping boost your organic traffic? Are you doing anything deliberate there to help boost things further?
That's something I've been looking to leverage more as I get back into SEO, starting with adding social share buttons to advertorials in hopes of some free social traffic.
The consensus so far with what I've seen seems to say that links on social sites don't matter for SEO on Google, but there has to some sort of effect when you're talking about running hundreds of thousands if not millions of visitors a month via paid traffic.
Nice!
@wakeboarder Do you have an example on how this works?
Amy
I've been doing this too some time ago (I believe), when I was helping local companies to setup e-shops and build traffic for them.
The system was quite easy, though I was facing scaling issues due to the limits of a small market. Basically, I just reached out to websites that matched the niche of the eshop and asked them to publish an article about the eshop we were building. Sometimes we sent them a product for free so they could do a review and post it, sometimes we just paid a flat rate to get an article posted. We did announcement style posts, when a new eshop was launched or when the particular company also opened a brick&mortar shop or when a special sale event was launched ... there are quite a few options to go at it.
With a few eshops, this really helped to boost the SEO and also brought in some direct sales.
Is this something like you're doing wakeboarder?
Yeah, example would be nice.
I also love all the SimilarWeb projects.
Before there were any spy tools available we used their top pages feature to discover landers on domains.
Also SimilarTech is nice, I used to do background checks on some traffic sources to find out where they got most volume (geos) and also some of their top publishers for spying.
Example: Popads https://www.similartech.com/technologies/popads
Sorry, maybe I was a bit unclear.
Let me try to explain it again.
As you probably know a backlink from authority webpage can help with your SERP. If you are in local, niche and uncompetitive market like I'm, a powerful backlink can have a really huge impact.
When I order a new advertorial on the website portal, I send them my own text with multiple links to my money page.
I'm buying advertorials on the biggest portals in my niche. This is how I get backlinks from authoritative sites from the SEO point of views.
After two months I noticed that advertorials are ranking on top positions for my keywords and also my money page is on 1. page in Google for my keywords.
This is how I see this case, but I'm very confident about this because my current money-page domain name is just a few months old and I did not do any SEO optimization.
