I'm helping a friend back in Brazil with his dating product.
He's already selling it for his own list but he wants to expand.
We're thinking of advertising through PoF and Facebook.
I know we have to design and test landing pages and other things.
But my doubts is more related to how to go about selling the product.
I hear that direct selling is not the best way, thinking of opt-in and redirecting
to a sales page with a sales video.
I know it's hard to give any tips without seeing the offer's landing page,
but just a question for people that know more about selling this kind of products
through this traffic methods.
plenty of dating offers work w/Direct Linking (i.e. sales page or sign up on the actual site/product) but some people like to use Landing Pages.. If it was my own product I'd design LPs for each vertical market/demo (keep it broad). Then you can have your affiliates or in-house team use either DL or LP...
In Mexico we have about 9 celebrities endorsing our product (A-Rod, Dwight, Anahi, Ana de la Reguera, etc.) and for those offers specifically i'll use LPs as opposed to the generic site. hope this helps
