Hello badb13, nice start to a follow along

BUT! Volume is very low. I think the best opportunity for my goal its tier2 countries + zone testing.
You're targeting Russia, is that right? There should be way more volume in this GEO, what does your targeting look like?

I think that campaign with 3-5-10 zones and unique pre-landings give better results then campaign on 1000+ sones.
Campaigns with lower amount of zones can be more consistent, since it's not such a huge mix as when targeting 1000s of sites or zones. But both can work, it's not like there is just one way of doing this.

My preferred method of handling such campaigns is to try to get rid of just the worst ones and optimize the rest. The more zones you block, the lower the final volume will be, so keep that in mind.

And focus on making your own LPs and banners... even if you use the common styles, just change something to make them fresh.

Looking forward to your results

Matej.

(Thanks a lot @matuloo, problem was in targeting, I targeted only with 1 site)
Ok cool, I knew there had to be more volume available

What type of banners are you using? In some cases, the banner CTRs look quite high, but on the other hand, some of the LPs have rather low ctrs. Are you using some misleading creatives? The LPs are in russian and without mistakes?

On this stage I cut the worstest banners, pre-landers and OS. And a some zones (with 0 clicks at 0.1€ spent).
Is it right step?
Getting rid of the worst performers is the right thing to do. However, you have to take it one step at a time. Cut banners in one go, run some more traffic, then cut LPs, run some more then cut offers ... you can start with offers or LPs, depending on when you see the strongest pattern. Just do not cut it all at the same time.

The reason for this is the possibility of uneven traffic distribution ... some banners send more clicks and there is a chance that bigger part of them were sent to a particular LP/offers. Now let's say that particular banner was not working well, so obviously the LPs and offers also worked poor with those clicks. On the other hand, if the traffic was coming from another banner, it might have performed better. To make sure you're not making decision based on this, you have two options ... spend a LOT of $ on the initial tests, to reach true statistical significance, or cut one thing at a time.

Cutting zones with 0 clicks at $0.10 might be to soon, I would wait for a bit longer.

I have a lot of zones with 1 conversions. How you cut the zones/sites?
It's not really possible to optimize these small zones, assuming that you are talking about the small ones that send a click here and there and some of them convert. These either work, or they don't ... the best you can do with these, is to look at the CTR and LP CTR of such zones and cut them if it's something out of the ordinary.

In case you are talking about bigger zones that send more clicks but only converted ones ... depends on how much you had to spend to reach that 1 conversion. If it wasn't to much, keep on running traffic. If it's like 3x the payout already, cut them for sure.

There is still one thing to keep in mind here: there are no guarantees that your funnels are strong enough. You might need better banners, better LPs or even better offers. Once you have them, the conversion rates and ROI can improve a lot and many of the zones you've paused with the weaker funnel could work well now.

Thanks a lot for advise @matuloo !

I create simple dating banners, on the left side gif, on the right side some text, I trying keep it simple, little bit vulgar and amateur. No "free bj here!" or "get numbers instantly!", "show pictures now...". At 10 banners I got 1-2 with good CTR.

About landing and pre-landings, I noticed, that pre-landing and landings looks same - questions and style. Is is bad? It means, user answer on 3-5 question and... get another 5 questions No mistakes on landing or pre landing.

And, Is it normal, that eCPA = 2.5€ with no optimization (with 40€ spent)? Payout 0.81€. I cant understand, I need stop campaign? Sounds like bad eCPA, even at the start.

Ok, that banner format is ok, shouldn't be any problem with that.

Most LPs are using these questions, so no problem with that again. In case you are using offer variations with built-in prelanders, you can try to direct link or use LPs with less and more simple questions.

Your CPA looks pretty bad for such low payout offer for sure, but yes, it's normal to see bad numbers when starting out. You need a stronger funnel ... have you tested more offers? Not just variations of the same offer, but totally different offers?

There are people who buy leads, look into "co-reg" but it's a more complicated setup. You can also try to email your leads on your own, but again, it's not that easy

Many people are running their own "lists" but it requires proper research and the right contacts. When executed properly, it can definitely work better than just sending the leads to someone else. So if you want to go down that route, feel free to, just expect to face a lot of obstacles. It might be a better idea to work with 3rd party offers for some time, learn how to properly optimize and then try to build your own offer.

But you're the one to make the call
