Hi,

Are there any FREE heatmap scripts out there that work well? I only know clickheat but i think it's a bit outdated.

Here's a link for a free Crazyegg account. You only get 1000 visits per month but it's better than nothing.

thanks. i know clickheat..but i'm not sure if it's still up to date and compatible with all browsers..because it seems like it hasnt been updated for a while

I've used it lately and worked fine.

Not sure if it tracked 100% of the users , but I'm sure it did track most of them from seeing the maps.

Google Analytics has one too it's hidden under content --> in page analytics

Hey everyone -- the owner of this service contacted me through my blog -- http://www.heatmap.ca

It's a free service and looks very robust. We're in the process of trying it and so far so good. Actually quite impressive.

Spoke with the creator, his name is Rob and he's a pretty cool guy. Even though it's a .ca I'm not affiliated with them in anyway.

This may be a solid free alternative if people need one.

Gives you quite a few tools
- click map
- scroll map
- and some more stuff as well
