What kind of things are you wanting to mail?

Are you building your own list?

aweber or getresponse are actually quite affiliate friendly, unless you plan to do some shady shit... can you tell us the vertical you want to target?

And for smaller lists, they are not that expensive. Getresponse for example is like 15 bucks a month for a list under 1000 subscribers, or $25 for 2500 emails. That should be enough for testing the idea out.

You could use a self hosted solution, but the thing is, it's not that easy to reach decent delivery success rate and you can run into trouble with your hosting company etc ... these dedicated email solutions have all this solved already, so it's a good idea to start with some of them and should you manage to grow your list, then look for other options.

thanks a lot for the help Matej.
yah i guess you're right. i just think that in long term, things will need to be explored eventually, therefore i intended to solve it in this moment now, such as having my own email arrangement.

not planning to do shady shit, just paid traffics in bing/revcontent and ask for user email, after optin, send them the first offer, then in email, send 2nd, 3rd and etc. to hit them again and again to increase ROI.

Totally understand, but the thing is, you didn't verify your business idea yet, it might very well fail too. And in such cases, it's better to take the shorter and less complicated route of using a ready-made solutions, than spending time on creating a larger base with the future in mind, as it might very well not come at all. Not saying it will fail of course, but I've spent to much time on projects that failed during the past years and we often wasted significant amounts of $$$ on development that we didnt really need. So these days, I try not to reinvent the wheel, unless I really have to
