Hello, ive been optimizing traffic source and my landers and manage to get pretty high CTR of 13-20% but i have unbelievably low conversion rate.
For example, my last camp- T3 sweep, pin sub. CTR of 14% on top lander(remove other landers from camp)- 1315 clicks= 0 conversions.
I have checked, links are good.
What does that usually mean? Offer is bad or am i not preparing visitors for pin submit CTA? My lander specifically says- you will need to provide your phone nunbmer in the form.

What traffic are we talking about? Is it POPs, push, banner clicks ... something else?
One important thing : are all the click-throughs natural? Or are there any "scripts" that forward the user to the offer in case they click on the backbutton or try to close the window, or something like that? This is a very important part. I've seen tons of LPs that do this and the affiliates using them had no idea, so they were wondering why out of those clicks none converted.
Are you sure you are using a good offer that is live and converts?
Are you sure you are sending the right traffic to the offer? Device, OS, carrier ... or any other possible targeting that the offer requires.
Any idea about how much bots is in the mix, did you run any test or use some tool to assess the bot %?
Please answer these questions for me and we can move on
Hey Matuloo! Thanks for a reply. Yeah, i should have mention more info in the initial post. So...
1)No scripts, just big CTA button. And a message what you suppose to confirm your phone number on the next page.
2)its POP traffic from ZP, bot ratio is pretty low according to
3)I am sure im sending right traffic. One specific carrier+one city only.
4)I am not sure offer is alive but its fresh.
Problem is, i had this problem few times already with diff. offers. This is looks like a normal thing for me now and i am kinda lost. At first i thought i configured something wrong and conversions couldnt be made, but then i saw like 1-2 actually happen. So i really dont know.
My main concern is what maybe, pin submits does require more intense motivation from lander. Users coming for a chance to win iphone, but once they enter phone number and probably asked to confrim they are paying for that- they stop and leave.
or offer is just a piece of XXXX
Adult traffic giving 65% CTR o_O
Attachment 20663
First column- non adult- standart traffic. It shows 7.8% CTR because it is spread between 4 diff. landers. Top lander giving 13% there. I did some optimization and cut off bad landers obv.
The attachment is not loading, can you please upload the image to imgur.com and then share the url here? Vbulleting (that the forums runs on) has a bug when it comes to posting attachments, so imgur works better.
Ok so for POPs, the CTR is very high, 65% is absolutely not possible without some script in the LP, it's simply too high. Even 14% is already on the higher side for POPs, and 65% is out of this world. I'm sure it's not natural clicks on the LP. Unless it's just some blank age with one huge "Enter" button, even then 65% is too much.
Those 1315 clicks are LP clicks right? Just to make sure.
The truth is, PIN submits are kinda tricky at the moment, the regulations almost killed the vertical for good. ZA is one of the more regulated GEOs as far as I know, so not sure if its the best pick.
I would say you either picked the wrong offers or the LPs were poor. Combine it with the generally high difficulty of making PINs work and there you have it.
You might want to experiment with some SOI sweeps (email leadgen) or something that is comparably easy to convert.
Thank you. I had similar thoughts about sweeps but it’s always good to hear opinion from someone experienced. Btw I have created follow along in POP traffic sub forum. There is pictures there and I’m sure it will be entertaining to follow 😉
Is the offer still active? You can confirm it with your AM in the cpa network.
Also you can ask for a screenshot how this offer performs with other affiliates with clicks conversions and etc.
Or maybe the AM can give you a tip if there are other hot geos/offers right now.
Also, you can ping to our support to figure out if everything goes alright with the campaign setup and traffic. The CTR of 65% is indeed quite high, so we might want to look closer to your campaign and figure out what causes such a result.
