Keep going with mobile or switch verticals?

Hi Vortex,

Thanks a lot for the guide! I just registered last week, but with quick approvals, I have just launched my first campaign with landing pages following the guide.

I have one question now though: I don't really want to continue doing mobile sweeps in the long run, I have some ideas in the education vertical related to my own background that I want to try out. I am mainly following the guide to quickly learn the basics of CPA marketing at a low cost.

I already launched this sweeps campaign so I will let it run.

Do you think it's worthwhile continuing with mobile pops for more than the duration of the guide? Or should I just move on to whatever other verticals and traffic sources I am more interested in once I go through the guide?

Thanks

The main purpose of the guide is to give you guys something to follow in a step by step form. This makes the whole "onboarding" process way more easier to go through and it all comes together more quickly.

As soon as you feel confident about the whole setup process, basic optimization rules, and once you feel that you got solid understanding of affiliate marketing concept in general, feel free to venture out to any niche/vertical that you'd like to pursue. It might be mobile sweeps, it might be something else in mobile, it might be something totally different.

The options are pretty much endless, so choose whatever you like

Cheers,
Matej.

Sorry I haven't found this post until now!!

Regarding your questions: I agree with what @matuloo said. Actually I think I've touched on this topic in the last lesson of the tutorial as well. And this post may also shed some light:

Have fun and please feel free to ask further questions - now that the tutorial is done, I'll be spending more time replying to posts on the forums!

Never feel like you're limited within the walls of the guide, Amy has done a fantastic job at giving a path of learning all foundational skills of affiliate marketing but definitely don't have to feel that the options there is the only way, its just very easy to not get paralysed by the infinite approaches hence Amy's guide being so useful as its step by step and you kinda know what to do day in day out for the initial learning. If you have an idea for Education campaigns and you're more passionate about it go for it once you feel confident in your approach.

It's just a bit more easier to get conversions and read/analyse date through mobile/sweeps etc then maybe education as I'm guessing the prices are going to be higher. But yeah, never feel limited, its really important to keep eyes open wide and not get tunnel vision, I've heard some truly interesting ideas or thought points from relatively newcombers lately that even opened my vision up so believe in yourself most importantly!
