Learnt a lot from STM, figured I would share one little trick that I often use to increase me ROI 1x%+, not sure if this has been shared before, if yes, my apology.
Straight to the point, very often in time we affiliate marketer would like to cross promotion products to various target audience, however the optin rate can be lower if you ask for an email before sending them to the offer. What I do is to manipulate my visitor's browser history so that it will implement a code to make visitor back button turned into my offer :cool:
the idea is very simple, but with massive ROI increment. and since my PPC ads in revcontent and especially in google/bing focus on keyword in offer + discount/ review keywords, so that user that are looking in my landing pages are already people very interested in buying, so the back button redirect will help me to place the affiliate code to their browser EVEN they dont like my landing pages or didnt find any good discount or review.. :D:D

Don't get me wrong but I guess that probably 99% of the users here use backbutton scripts in one way or another.
Thanks @gritaction for sharing the tip! But apologies - I'm not really understanding it. Are you dropping a cookie into the visitor's browser? Or just directing them to the offer page when they click back?
If it's the latter, I think most affiliates are already doing this, as twinaxe has pointed out. But thanks for sharing just the same!
