How to drastically boost WEBSITE earnings?

Hey all,

For the past months I've been running my own (push notification) traffic to a few websites I own. Mostly in the finance niche, with articles covering how to get out of debt, save money, get credit etc.

Currently monetising solely with Media.net ads - this is an alternative to Adsense which I was (like most...) banned some time ago for no specific reason.

It's going OK but nothing crazy. My page RPMs are about $100 ie I get about $0.10 per (unique) visit.

I could buy traffic from ad networks and send to this site and make about 0% ROI (+/- 20%).

Here's the thing: what can I do to drastically boost my earnings? Am I not doing something that could potentially double how much each visitor is worth?

Any and all advice is very much welcome!

Best regards

Wow, $100 RPM seems already to be very high. I don't think that there's a lot of potential upside. And I guess you have split-tested different ad formats & placements plus font/background etc on your site already?

So I guess if you want to increase revenues, you should get more visitors...

Are you using an optin to build an email list or alternatively a small membership area about the website topics?

Interesting - but I'm confused: Are you BUYING push traffic and sending them to your website?

If so, why not just use a service such as OneSignal to COLLECT push subscribers yourself, and THEN send them to offer pages where if they sign up to financial services, you receive a commission?

That way, you can nurture a relationship with your subscribers, and send them offers repeatedly (well not too often) until they opt out of receiving notifications from your website.
