Anyone know of a good tool that can help with split testing your own VSL pages?
Besides the ususal stuff (headline, CTA, design, etc) we need to test different video versions, how they impact page stay, clickthrough, conversions.
Specific page stay durations should count as a "pre-conversion" on which we can then calculate statistical significance.
Also a graphical way to see major dropoff points would be nice.
Currently we built a simple custom solution on top of Funnelflux (pulling in Funnelflux time on page data etc.) but I have the feeling we're reinventing the wheel.
We need something we can run on top / next to funnelflux though and not a replacement because we need funnelflux to tie back email optins to conversions.
I've used to use Wistia to measure the video engagement, when people stop watching, how many make it to the end, etc.
If you have a lot of traffic just split it to your different video versions and you'll see what's bringing in more sales
Jason Akatiff has a tool called Viderian, http://viderian.com/, I've used it when it was in development phase and was helpful, you can give it a try.
Thanks!
Viderian looks interesting but maybe it was abandoned?
The "show me how it works" video won't load and forward to signup page is also broken.
use google optimizer, it will do the job perfectly. best part? its free.
it can replace the video vsl and using the same url.
