Questions - Charles Ngo new Facebook/Leadgen/Email Course

Hi Guys,
I'm seriously considering doing the Charles Ngo course that he came out with recently.

BUT before I hand over 6 weeks of my time (and a whole lot of dosh),
I'd really love to hear if there are any alternative courses I should be considering instead if I wanted to learn:

[1] Whitehat Facebook: I'm a total newbie to facebook and am interested in learning how to make it profitable but doing it whitehat (so no account farming).
I've got the impressions Charles can teach facebook well (or is there someone better?)

[2] Whitehat Email Marketing that works at scale: I've dabbled in the past but could not get it to work without a lot of hand-holding and small lists. Anyone know of alternatives course from people who actually have built profitable whitehat email lists which they have automated/outsourced etc?

[3] And I'd love to hear if anyone had done a previous Charles Ngo course and whether they thought it was helpful/not helpful.

Charles is a smart affiliate, and so I expect it to be worth the investment.

My main complaint is that, this is not affiliate marketing 2.0 or anything new. It powered the Prosper202 business model since 2011.

I have been preaching this method for years to anyone who would listen and even created a course in 2016 to teach my tollbooth system. It wasn’t new back then either It’s just not a model most affiliates use. I’m glad to see people realizing the value of this.

My training covers the same topic of building a list/asset and monetizing multiple times via email, it’s currently free to Prosper202 customers.

Back then it didn’t include how to buy media. The fb mastermind I am currently running is taking care of that, the overall course is also being refreshed for 2019, to update on some of the new cool stuff available now. (Messenger bots etc)

You can check out the overview of the system above. Just ignore all the parts about pricing and bonuses.

A lot of the 2019 Prosper202 roadmap is geared around empowering people who have switched to this model and will cater to both email and messenger marketing.

@Mr Baffoe

Thank you for sending the video and your comments
It has given me something to think about.

I was wondering

[1] If you were making the course available (or selling it) to non-prosper users (and if so, how much would it be)?
[2] When you think the 2019 updated course will be available.

How much is the course, just out of curiosity?

I'm getting spammed left right and centre with all of his ads promoting his course lol

Is there a demo of prosper202 around anywhere? One feature I think heard mentioned in the video was tagging users who later converted (I think)

Would love to see that in action

I agree with Nana. The main issue here is calling this system affiliate 2.0 when in reality I think it's more like affiliate system 0.0. It has never stopped working and it's what most people have been teaching in the last 10 years.
It just happens to not be as common in the CPA industry where people want fast profits (buy + monetize immediately).

Does the system work and has potential? I'm sure it does.
We used a similar system in 2017-2018 to build a huge brand to sell info products and fitness courses through Facebook and then sold it 4 months ago.
When I spoke with people at AWE/AWA about this most of them where curious and asked me if it wasn't a lot of trouble and work (I said yes as we had to built the brand, do video recordings every 2 weeks, etc).

But one of the main questions I received was where did I learn all that stuff and I was surprised because contrary to buying traffic in networks like native/pops/push/etc and doing things like cloaking, redirects, tracking, etc. where info can be very difficult to find unless you pay or get access to premium forums, getting info on how to build lists and monetize them can be found in a ton of free blogs and websites. I started learning that in 2011 and the info is still relevant. It's what a ton of white hat affiliates (the ones who don't even know what CPA is or they ignore there's a black hat market) know as affiliate marketing and it's been working for the past decade.

I obviously know Charles course is focused on CPA offers anyways, and it should be interesting, but just wanted to add my 2 cents as I guess many affs. that have been around for a few years here have the same feeling about this 2.0 course.

Just to be clear, I'm not against the course and I actually think it's a good idea to use that system in the long run

Went to sleep with Ngo and wake up with Ngo ... ads.

I think he forget to set frequency cap.

I also agree with Servando above, I would not call it as AM 2.0 at least from those videos I've seen.

Nevertheless, until we don't have the full course, we might be all wrong.

I respect Charles though, he is a great marketer for sure and we can all learn a lesson or two from what he is doing and how he is doing it.

Just look at his blog, style and presentation and obsession with perfection.

He is one of the most consistent marketers I have ever seen in this industry!

P.S. Let us know guys if someone buys the course and give us some review! ;-)

@servandosilva - thank you for your advice. You're definitely right in that email has been around forever. (btw - nice blog, I've signed up to your newsletter).

[1] Does anyone have any email specific courses/articles/whitepapers/newsletters/videos they have found helpful in the past?
Especially ones that you have been able to apply and see results from?
I'd really appreciate it if you could share them (especially those that are newbie friendly).

Because I know there are a lot of courses and 'experts' out there for all fields of marketing.
It's just trying to find the ones which actually work and are not just bulls@#t or full of 'theory' and not much practical.

[2] It has been a while since I looked at email training/courses and most were focused on helping people sell their own products (not CPA/Leadgen).
Does anyone know of any which are specific for leadgen?

Ive been doing the ngo method for 3 years now or so. We give away a lead magnet on front build list thats heavily tracked so we know where we get what ctrs and then always tweak the backend to increase ctrs to increase traffic. Traffic goes to tracker where offers are split tested and landeds too. Its always about improving the backend.

Anyone have a link to the replay? I couldn't make it and never received an email about a replay.

Charles is a smart guy. I've almost read all of his blog posts over the past few years, and I was a poker player as well.

What bothers me a bit about his Leadengine course is this:
1) he sells you a course for 2.5k
2) you then have to spend your own money on generating emails, which you cannot monetize effectively by yourself
3) and then he suggests you make a joint venture with someone who is experienced in email marketing. And I'm pretty sure he will suggest you to team up with him (with the two brothers from the course) for a 50-50% deal

So in the end, he gets your 2.5k plus email addresses for free on a 50-50 deal. As I said, he is a smart guy

Never understood this part. Why would you need to jv with someone for the email marketing part?

Well, in case you have no experience with monetizing the list, it makes sense to team up with someone who knows how to do it properly. At least in the beginning. I have no idea if that's really NGOs goal, but from a general point of view, it always makes sense to join forces with someone who's better at what one is trying to achieve ... It just makes learning faster.
