AVG Push Subscriber Cost

We just started collecting push subscribers.

Curious what the AVG cost per subscriber is for the rest of you.

Ours is absurdly high... then again we are not doing anything black hat or deceptive either. We are paying about $1 to $1.50 (I am assuming this is still insanely high)

Also this is for desktop subscribers only - We haven't tested much mobile.

I think you need to look at the value that user gave you. So for instance if your collecting a user from the US and overall you paid something like 0.5$ per user, the average user clicks about one time throughout is subscription lifetime, so from the US that means you will get vest case scenario 0.1$-0.35$

It's a bit High, how are you collecting this users? We have been doing it in house only and from direct sites only, so we always got good pointers to share

Hey!

It really depends on GEO and source where you buy traffic. For me for EU countries it's around $30-50 per 1000 subscribers (mobile).

$0.15-0.30 tier 1.

$0.06 - 0.09 tier 2

$0.03~ tier 3.

Agree with MrBraun, it is dependent on GEO and source

Right now it's buying on push traffic collecting push subs in the US geo. There's no incent, it's just the script on the site. US geo, cost $1.50 to $3 per. AVG conversion around 2-3%. Seems to me getting .30 per subscriber is more like incent... like click allow for something or making them believe they'll get something if they subscribe. I honestly don't know that the value of each subscriber only clicks once. I've had subscribers from 3 months ago still clicking.

***Side note, does anyone know what the "allow/deny" looks like on mobile. I haven't had much luck there and I think it's due to how it displays.
