Today we are buying traffic from PropellerAds to run PropellerAds’s Smart Link campaign… how is it even possible? So now, I’ll show you how to make money within one network.

First steps
To get started with the Smart Link, you’ll have to register for a Publisher account. Then follow simple instructions, open an Advertiser account – and launch your first campaign.
Landing pages
We used landing pages that PropellerAds offers for Smart Links:
If you buy PropellerAds traffic for Smartlinks, then in Subscription Attempts set the value to «0» (according to Advertising Policies). Otherwise, your campaign might be rejected.
Launching campaigns
On this ad platform, I ran three Onclick popunder campaigns with the following settings:
- Campaign 1 — RO, Android, Phone, Google Chrome, All Zones, All landing pages
- Campaign 2 — RO, Android, Phone, Google Chrome, Zone limitation, Landing page 1
- Campaign 3 — RO, Android, Phone, Google Chrome, Zone limitation, Landing page 2
Target URL — Smart Link.
First, I had to choose zones (sites) and landing pages, which work well with these zones.
For the first campaign, I targeted all landing pages and zones. That helped me figure out that some zones were related to video and some – to music. The average CR was at 3.99%.

After that, I separated campaigns by zones that converted better with such ad messages as «MP3 player» and «Video Player Movie is Ready». The CR jumped 5x higher.
