So after lots of testing you find a good offer/lander/pop traffic combination that's bringing in some nice profits.
How long do you expect it to run in profit before you have to test new landers etc?
Can be from few days to few months.
Really man, there is no cut in stone number for it.
Can be that you have a fantastic offer that is converting like hell for only 5 days and then there are campaigns that can run for long time when new offer supply is available and you just rotate new offers in.
Also depends on the vertical, size of geo, targeting.
And there are things you can do to keep campaigns running longer:

I've only ever run Lead Gen Sweeps on Pop Traffic - so take my advice with a grain of salt.
My view is that a pop campaign will drop out due to Traffic or the Offer
Amy (Vortex) talked about the process to keep on top of the traffic issue (see link in the previous post)
For the offer, well the risks as I know it are:
i). You are running inherently risky offers (i.e. they are scammy). And complaints/regulators will bring them down.
ii). The Affiliate Network you are running through has a lot of affiliate running shiity traffic to that offer. In which case the offer owner will not want any more traffic from the Affiliate Network (including your traffic no matter how good it is, since it is diluted by the $%%$ some others send)
iii). You are sending bad quality traffic that they can not make money off. There is no such thing as a free lunch .. if your traffic can't make them money, they won't want more.
My general rule is that if you're making the offer owner money - it is much less likely you will need to change offers.
And if you do have to change offers ... having good quality traffic means other offer owners will want your traffic.
It just means going the extra mile and figuring out what good quality traffic is for the offer/vertical you are promoting.
Thanks guys, understood.
I've had things last for days..
I've also had campaigns last for years...
Very subjective question.
They can last from days, weeks to months.
I think most campaigns lasts as long as the offer performs (across all sources) :-)
Most issues are usually that offer caps out, got paused or so.
Another issues are bid changes and saturation.
For campaign test, it certainly needs time, but choosing a good network with supportive AM will save you a lot of time!
