Today we are happy to announce that our platform PushgrOund is ready to cover your demand for push traffic. Being new on the market is tough but as a spin-off of a larger company, we got much more experience than you do expect from a new entry.
We do offer both mobile and desktop traffic ( 70/30 accordingly) with WW coverage. The biggest part of the inventory is in-house collected users with own tag, but to be honest, we got some integrations with major players on the market in order to be able to cover the wildest targets you may apply. The point here is to be as careful as we were in order to avoid re-selling partners and be sure in those small but still 3rd party supplies.
Push is relatively new on the market but already fulfilled with bots and low-quality users. That's why we already got integrated a solution which checks the quality of the user on a stage of getting to the platform, so once we see that user is going to be a problem we prefer not to sign him/her up. Quality is more important than quantity in our case.
The platform now has all basic targeting options that allow getting the audience needed. On the top of that we are able to offer carrier targeting with ready-made lists and bid by sources, so you don't need whitelists anymore, just adjust the bid for particular source_id and keep earning from each of them.
Moreover, there is an incredibly useful thing as won rate. It checks the targets of each campaign and compares it with the other camps where the targets are the same. As a result, you can see how much of the "market share" for the particular target you now have with your camp. Most targets are crossed only partly (same geo, different OS or same geo + OS but different browser/IP/timing settings) so it's easy to get good inventory. We suggest having bid for 60-75% of won rate for perfect quality+volume/cost ratio.

in that thread, I'll keep updating those who are interested in product improvements we got in Pushground. Comparing to the moment we made an original post we have added:
- Bid by Supply. There are multiple origins of the traffic you buy so you might wanna bid more\less according to the efficiency. From now on you don't need separate campaigns for that
- Bid by Source. If the upper option is not good enough, you now can bid different inside single supply, by source. For the most narrow bidding possible
- Target by language. Might be useful for countries with 2 or more popular languages. Now you can target only the one who understands your creative. Based on browser language. Macros in URL available for easier tracking.
- Target by a city. Perfect for the offers which work in particular cities. Macros in a title, camp's body and tracking link available as well
- Active hours. Have something brand-safe and don't want to wake up your user? Targeting for a special event? You are welcome to set up timing when the camp starts/end to fit perfectly.

-Sort by hour. so you can track how your new changes increase your ROI.

Glad to keep you updated with Pushground news. We got a bunch of new things since our previous post that you might like:
- Subscriber live period. We started to split feed by subscriber live period. It's now split 0 to 7 days, 7-21, >21 where it's applicable. The younger subscribers do provide higher CTR & CR but obviously cost more per click. So far we don't have platform inbuild info about that so I'll provide some STM's insides at the end of this post.
- Bid macros. Now you can transfer the bid price to your tracker to have most accurate vision there.
- Categories. We started to ask you to select a category of your offer. That's the first steps toward built-in whitelists and targeting presets what makes your entrance to new verticals much smoother.

- New supplies. Besides all of these updates, one of our top priority task and the biggest process is a constant quality improvement and grows of the inventory we have. After all, it might be the most important point in Self-serv platform and we know that.

Is it possible to create campaigns that only target your in-house inventory? I have found this feature in other push sources but it seems only my account managers can do this for me, and not all traffic sources can.
I figure it's better to ask here so others can learn rather than just going private

So far there no such an option. We do care about a lot about 3rd party sources that got connected to the platform, so the quality won't differ a lot among all sources.
Plus most of the supplies we use are not open for public so the traffic you are getting is not shared on the market.

Apart from GoT last season, there is some more major update we have.
Targeting by audience age. We've been working long on that, preparing the database we got, interface and testing and now we are glad to welcome you for using. You can now target users who are living particular days in the database: under 8, 8-21 days and 21+. The younger the subscriber is the better ctr (in avg, not 100% accurate) he\she shows. On the other hand, it also affects the cost but once you know that you can use it as a tool, getting top bids with avg costs by targeting the right audience.

Sometimes it's impossible to get the subscriber date so there are still some feeds which can't be arranged by age so make sure you cover this audience as well by creating separate camps. You've been doing that before so spent some time and get max profit from that, competition got less there now. Please note that is has nothing to do with real years subscriber spend on that earth.
Also, we were happy to see so many of you on MAC event, we appreciate your time visiting our booth and happy to know you in person. The next event might be AWE Brc, but we will keep you updated if find something before that.

We are glad to announce, that yesterday we deployed A/B testing for you use inside Pushground platform. You may now upload a few creatives and text to each camp and see separate stat per each of them.


Sometimes it’s hard to guess which creative will be loved by users more than the others. At the same time it's consuming and not always accurate to make a manual comparison between two camps. That’s exactly the problem which A/B testing solves. You can set up 2 or more text/creatives/their combination to a single camp and we will provide a pure result which one converts better so you act on your best offer with proven knowledge. Volumes and all other conditions will be delivered equally between creatives.

Inside each A/B testing camp there will be a stat of the same depth as usual so you can dig into exact numbers for each version. Please note, that for fair testing you should not modify\add any materials after test start. That ruins fair condition and breaks the whole idea. For any changes, we do recommend starting a new test.
Our AM team will help to use that tool in the most efficient way. Combining that tool with API access to the stat will help to optimize your workflow and same plenty of time so you enjoy time using the profits you earned with us 
That was one of the key features we wanted to introduce you this summer. More are coming shortly and we will be glad to tell you in person during the AWE Brc in a month from now. We will share more info on that closer to the event.
