Is this the right place to introduce my affiliate programme for Petrolheads?

Hi and a Happy New Year to you all

Just wanted to clarify a few things so i dont upset the community with my first posts

I'm a vendor with a pretty cool product and looking to hook up with high quality affilaites. I have read the terms on sign up and have no intention of spamming (I hate that too!) but obviously there's a fine line because quite frankly, the main reason for joining STM is to get my affiliate programme rocking in 2019!

I read the welcome email and a couple of the links don't work and I get error for the vendor terms.

Official Thread:

Each company may start only ONE official thread representing their business in the appropriate subforum
- Networks: Official Networks Threads
- Tools: Official Tools Threads

So all said what's the best way to introduce myself and the company?

Suggestions for promoting the programme would also be appreciated

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for pointing out the problem with the non-working links, we have to look into it.

As for how to promote your program :

- since you are new to the forum, it's also ok to introduce yourself in this section : https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...f-Make-Friends It's a good way of letting the community know what you are after and what's your background.
- this official section should serve as an information hub, so make a detailed informative thread about your program and use this thread to post updates.
- you are allowed to have a short forum signature, that can carry the link to your program. So everytime you post, it will be shown to the users. You can do so here : https://stmforum.com/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature

And on top of that, both affiliates and program owners come to STM for help. So if you have questions on how to run an aff program, how to promote it, how to improve your product ... feel free to start a thread. And I see you already did just that, so let's see what kind of advice you can get from us
