Which of these you prefer and why?

Hi,

I'm digging around traffic sources for running adult traffic to my landing pages and then offers.

Since there are so many available traffic sources I'm now picking out only one.

I'm still deciding beside: Traffic Junky, Traffic Factory and Exo Click.

So I'd really hear your opinion about which one you have chosen and why 🤔

Have a nice day! ✌🏻

Why not just test all 3?

The more traffic sources you have accounts on, the bigger you can scale your profitable campaigns.

And even in the beginning, it would be wise to test a few to see which one has the best traffic, that you can use for testing purposes (in order to lose as little money as possible).

Also: I don't know what type of offers you're running, but if it's something that can convert well on pop traffic, I would suggest to try PopAds as well. They have adult pop traffic. Quality is great, although volume isn't really there. But it's perfect for testing offers and landers. Once you get these 2 elements right, you can take it to a banner/display network like the ones you mentioned, to test banners.

(Disclaimer: STM does not endorse any traffic networks. Please buy traffic at your own risk.)

Out of the 3 you selected, I would drop exoclick for the start, unless you are after 3G traffic (from these 3, exo has the most 3G). The reason for staying away from exo initially is that their setup is different from the other 2.

Trafficjunky pretty much only works with their "own" inventory and a bunch of sites (pornhub, youporn, redtube ...), TraffiFactory is very similar, again just their inventory and 2 huge sites only.

Exo on the other hand, works with 1000s of smaller & bigger publishers, which translates to 10 000s of websites that carry their banners, and because of that, the quality is very unstable. Some webs are great, some are filled with bots. In order to find the good ones, you have to run pretty large tests and block 100s of poor placements. The source can still work well of course, but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is just starting out.

When starting out, you want to weed out as many variables as possible, so by going with TJ or TF you have one less thing to worry about, which is the traffic quality as it's very consistent.

Thanks for that feedback! I appreciate it!

So what I'm thinking now, is to go to TJ or TF since you mentioned that the quality of the traffic is better there, but there are much less placements which can also be good. If you have a lot of things to select, pick is harder and can then lead to much more ad spend if you only have couple of site to select placements.

Did I get it correct?

Yes, you want to minimize the amount of variables that you need to optimize, when starting out.

SO by going with TJ or TF, you know that you are only buying from a limited number of legit sites with consistent traffic quality. That means you don't have to worry about BOT tests or traffic quality in general ... if it doesn't work for you, than so be it, but it won't be because of bots or something related to the traffic quality itself.

TIP: If you decide to star with TJ, stay away from tier3 ron traffic, that can be a hit or miss, target just the established sites.
