Can somebody tell me what ad network this is? (link)
Hey everyone-
Stumbled across something interesting (an ad network, presumably), and was hoping somebody could enlighten me on it..
Its native ads embedded on what I believe is an arbitrage(?) page by 'GND News' or gnd.com, who I see advertising on native quite a bit. They don't do slideshows but seem to just have single page articles with several native widgets, so I presume they are doing arbitrage.
My question is, what ad network do the ads on their page belong to? Here is the link: https://gnd.com/why-authorities-warn...a-a2553c4b7c2e
The url redirect when you click the ads is 'serve.mediaforce.com', but I can't find any ad network called Media Force..
Would love to answer this riddle if anyone can help me! Thanks

Actually it's right here : http://www.mediaforce.com/
But looks more like an agency and not some regular ad network.

Interesting...
I think you're right... looks like they're the folks that own comparisons.org too..
I wonder if the ads on the GND News page are traffic they're selling via their bidding platform or their own funnels...
Very cool stuff though. Quite an operation. I guess that's one way to scale upwards as an affiliate
Thanks for the help Matuloo!

I wouldn't be surprised if they owned the site, many networks own some sites that they place their ad widgets on. If it's not their own, it is probably a direct buy they did.

Interesting..
That brings up an interesting questio... which would be whether its worth it to put some faux-ads of your own on your advertorials, with your affiliate links just embedded in them... and whether that would increase the overall EPC.
I guess any clicks to those other offers would take away from clicks to the main offer, but at the same time, if a certain % of people were never going to convert on the main offer, perhaps those secondary offers disguised as 'ads' may be a good fit and increase the overall return.
I love the infinite possibilities inherent within IM... it really is the coolest thing on earth doing this

With funnels optimized for certain specific product, adding additional ads on the LP will take away the focus of the users and result in lover revenue.
But many people are using multi-product landers, but again it requires certain logic ... for example listing top 5 products in a niche can work well. Using the "comparison" approach combined with short reviews, that works too. Or you can segment users by age for example and offer them different products based on that... There are many ways to utilize this approach for sure.

Yeah, I've been trying to do the listical thing on native myself for about 6-8 weeks now without a lot of success. When I first saw them getting big it seemed like an incredible idea, and certainly there are some affiliates killing with them, however I've actually had more success running some of the products I had on it individually than I did with the listical as a whole, so I'm experimenting more like that now and have a couple profitable (but small) ones going.
There's definitely some interesting and creative stuff going on with listicals on native though, like 'Top 18 Military Discounts' or 'Top 20 Discounts For Seniors' type stuff with lots of lead gen offers and some gadget ones.

Yup, marketing just one product and modeling the whole funnel around it is definitely easier, especially for products that people purchase just once. In such cases, we don't want to distract them with other offers, we need their focus on just one amazing product and make them want to own it immediately
Those listicles you mentioned, top 18 or 20 something, I think they also try to reach the viral effect ... when compliled carefully, these mashups can get quite a lot of shares.

That's an excellent point.
The top url I see killing it with them- weeklypenny.com- also seems to do Facebook, Display, and all sorts of other stuff besides native, so perhaps they're also monetizing it re: combinations of pixels/lookalikes/retargeting/organic virality/etc too.
I do have one listical going in a Latin American geo right now but other than that just sticking to the single products for awhile.
Appreciate you sharing your wisdom matuloo!

I've noticed quite a few setups that looked like they were designed to basically follow the users around the web, by using all kinds of pixels and retargeting options ... seems like this approach is working well for some people.
You're welcome, I always love to throw ideas around and discuss such things
