Got hit with the dreaded fraud report lol...

So today I got hit with the dreaded "fraud report" from my network.

Obviously that's not how I do things, but nevertheless it's what I'm facing now.

I've done a lot of revenue with this network over the past 2 years, and probably am approaching $250k or so with them over this time frame.

So the past week I did about $4.5k revenue with them, and the fraud report came back with about $300 in leads they want cut.

Most of the leads are "duplicate registrations" which I argued should be their problem, as obviously I have no control over this, and I don't get why the advertiser doesn't have checks in place for this.

It is a relatively small amount, but obviously ticks me off.

In this situation what would you do? Just eat the loss? Try to fight it? etc.

I'm on the fence of whether to continue on with this network at the moment, as this is the only network where I run into this fraud report problem (this is my 2nd report). They are usually for small amounts (less than $1k), but still bothers me. Plus I'm barely profitable here, but it's a large network, so I dont know what to do.

Thoughts?

For this large amount they need to cover it theirselfs. And duplicate registrations over a huge time frame is realy their own problem.
If we speak about this 250k amount they created with you 20-30% profit on top. So on their way i even never thought about cutting 300$ if i had earned 50k-75k with you. For that you have the network and didnt went direct to get covered those situations.

I reckon its pretty petty on their behalf especially if you've ran volume enough and the % we can roughly think they've profited, its their system collecting the leads too so I feel like its their problem, like you said most affiliates have had some hiccup along the way completely unintentionally. Sometimes with advertisers when there has been a problem by mistake I've just gone with compromise of both parties to keep the relationship strong.

If you can find the offer elsewhere, I would jump ship 100% if they're firm on the chargeback haha

I just decided to eat the cost this time to keep the relationship going.

I basically told them though if I get another report like this I'm bouncing lol.
