Custom 1 stop tracker solution?

If anyone has been reading my posts across the forum Im looking into different trackers because I'm looking for a good way to consolidate everything under 1 system i.e. tracker + the optimizer all in one but for multi traffic source as well.

Seems like this needs to be custom built which is fine but wondering if anyone has had any positive or negative experience working with different tracker API? Anyone that recommends one over the other?

Ideally I'm thinking of using one of the popular trackers as my front end and then pushing the data from traffic sources that I gather with my own custom code back into the tracker so that it has an accurate representation of click loss and I can then also run automated blacklist on etc.

Happy to have a discussion over Skype if that's easier as well just PM me and I'll share contacts

Hey there! I'd be happy to discuss options with you for a Thrivetracker account. We're fully integrated with TheOptimizer and would love to have you join the client family. Feel free to add me on Skype to chat more about it - "Stephen Thrivetracker"

Cheers,

Hey, we have API that supports pretty much everything - you can create campaigns, modify them, pull any report you want.
Entire documentation is available here.

Except for that, we also have real-time routing API, which is something slightly different - it lets you override your campaigns' redirect flow in real time - for every visit we handle we ping your server, passing all the metrics we detect, and if your server replies within 1s with a valid landing page IDs / offer IDs, you can override campaigns' redirection flow.

If you have specific questions / are keen to talk more, PM me here or directly on Skype (my Skype ID: karolina@Voluum.com) and I'll introduce you to some people at Voluum, from my side, I can just say I'm very open for a discussion

So to understand, you are asking which tracker has the most versatile API so you can use it as your redirection engine?

Yes pretty much. Honestly most trackers have a decent enough API to handle it so I just went with whichever one I had already installed. Problem at the moment seems to be that the traffic sources don't always have the best documented API and the functionality can vary a lot. I may go down the rabbit hole of working with undcoumented API but probably not worth the time for now.

Yeah I would just use any tracker since most of them have good enough APIs.

As for the traffic source APIs, that's usually the case. A lot of functionalities are missing from the API or are buggy.

Why not instead use an automation platform like TheOptimizer?

+1
I think for now it might be your optimal solution - to use a tracker that's integrated with an automation platform (i.e. TheOptimizer).
