Promoting Finance Offfers on Facebook
Hi Guys,
Could anyone give me some advice on promoting financial offers on facebook?
The advertiser can provide data such as custom audience and LLA but I'm still thinking of what angle, type of ads and LP to use. FB policies regarding financial offers is kind of confusing.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

How we're going to help you out and give advice without any data?
What type of financial offer? -- forex? payday loan?

my team is more about forex offers. but we tested PDL last week
it's pretty simple - you need to have good accounts, avoid stop words. audience need to see it clearly you have paydays but without keywords

Could you run this campaign WH or it needs cloaking?
Can you also tell what are the stop keywords that needs to be avoided?

If you can create FB ad policies complaint LPs -- then you can run it without cloaking for a very short period of time. But if you wanna run more aggressive landers for high conversion rate -- cloaking is the way to go.

Facebook doesn't allow payday loans:
So all of the above is wrong, not using the "stop keywords" will only delay the inevitable. The reason is simple; at some point in time your users will start reporting you and/or start commenting its a payday loan ad - which will get your account banned. And facebook isn't forgiving with any ads that promote prohibited content, so getting the account back will be difficult.
You need to invest in a lot of accounts, and think about cloaking.
Having a compliant LP again will only delay the inevitable, facebook strictly prohibits payday loans.
IMO your best approach would be get a lot of accounts, and cloak more aggressive landers, and pick up some better ROI in the process.

Absolutely on-spot reply. I couldn't agree more. You'll need lots of fb ad accounts even if you're working with best cloaking setup.

I think cloaking for me will be my last option. Facebook policies only states that they do not allow payday loans but I'm thnking of using other angles like housing loan, refinancing, car loan or something similar that will comply with FB.
Any thoughts on guys doing this stuff on facebook?

Build a blog around housing, cars, daily life. Push some decent content on it for a while.
Start writing some commercial blogs too with clickouts to the offers you want to run. Don’t make it agressive, but trustworthy and convincing. I am sure you won’t get banned if you link to the blog post with aff links in it!

Hi stickupkid,
Yes doing some blog content is also what i have in mind.
Do you think mentioning phrases like "Get Money" or "Get Cash" in the ad copy will result to a ban?

That triggers FB for sure to take a good look at your funnel yes, not per se an instant ban no. Try alternative wordings for that like, "Prevent from being short at the end of the month" etc etc

There used to be a lot of listicles pushed but don't seem to see as much anymore, pretty sure FB started not liking it too much targeting certain demographic age groups and having a big list of offers to promote them. Life insurance, travel offers, payday, refinance, gadgets, nutra etc

Like stickup said it won't ban your account but it will most likely get non approved over and over lol, need to get a bit more creative. Debt relief, car loans, bank loans, travel loans are still abundant in recent ads but they seem to be branded (whitelabel an option for you?) Anything spammy on FB isn't really gonna cut it these days, its the same across all verticals need a lot more effort then the old lazy days haha

You can use not payday loans, but installment or personal loans till $1000 and redirect to payday for example. Facebook is very strict to payday loans you need to read their instructions at least 5 times for payday really.

I got an idea - you can use some nice and popular products like iPhone, Samsung s10, GoPro camera etc and ad copy like this:
'Wanna get it today for $18,95? Check the offer. Available for 24h only!' - the link must be cloaked with fake e-commerce site on WooCommerce or so.
The point is you need to show a prelander about a payday loan, telling that $18,95 is the actual fee for receiving the loan (I am not sure what will be the exact fee though).
Picking the right product - you can target the most precise and narrow audience - like 'get your car repainted' (for car owners). Get GoPro - for all the extreme addicted. Get Solar Pannels for CA homeowners etc.
I am more than sure it will be approved and the ads will be catchy
