Important for anyone who sells in Germany: new law in effect Jan 1st 2019

This law applies to anyone selling into Germany, no matter whether you are big or small. Or on-line or local.
What usually happens with these things is that they find a few scapegoats that are made an example of what happens in case of non-compliance to scare everyone else into complying.
So my advice is to deal with this immediately if you sell to Germany.
I haven't got this set up for my company, but will make this a priority so I'll post any updates and info that I find as we move forward on this.
If you have dealt with it already or have any insight into the matter, do post here, so others can learn / benefit.
Quick update:
Cost seem to be very affordable.
Let's say you do 250 boxes a month for a total of 1 kg per box, this would give 2400 kg.
The cost of that is 35.60 per month with the right to use the "Grüne Punkt" logo.
If you don't want to use the logo, it's €35...
We only use paper for our packaging, so if you use plastic or whatever, you need to adjust your calculation accordingly.
