So i am running a mass appeal ecom offer on FB (White hat) where the CPA is $35 per sale.
SOO this is what i've done so far:
Launched 4 different per-sell pages where 2 made it to the final stage and no ONE has shown to be the clear winner.
Testing 6 different interests targeting where one of them is a LLA from a 10K email list that i got from my AM.
Launched 8 different ad images where 2 were getting the sales.
(now i'm creating even more to test this coming week).
Now i am not sure where to optimize.
On the FB Ad side i seem to not be able to get the clicks under .50 cent as the CPMs are so high right now.
Avg CPC is .80 cent right now. '
My conclusion is now to start optimizing the landing page so that i can get more view-through to the offer.
So far so good... now i don't have any problem to test the heart out of this campaign and offer BUT
i am not sure when to stop and move on to the next offer.
So far i've generated 12 sales since Tuesday when the campaign went live.
12 sales @ $35 = $420
Total spent in ads: $629
So i am right now -$209 and -33% ROI.
What would you do here and how long would you try to optimize this campaign before you give up and move on?
I would DEFINITELY test more ad images and headlines!
Those have a big effect on CTR (and therefore CPC - which is high).
I would put ALL my effort here and not on the landing pages at the moment. -33% ROI - that's so close to green! And judging from the high CPC, there's definitely room for improvement!
BTW did you know you could insert formatted text into FB ads? I found this gem not too long ago:

Best of luck!

Thank you Amy.
Yesterday was the first day i had positive ROI ($30 bucks) but i am now searching for more images.
As you said if i just could get down the cpc to .50 or below i will kill it with this campaign.
Will keep this post updated.
