Ads scheduling grayed out
Hey guys
I have campaigns running on Facebook and at first I let them run 24/7 non stop.
Now I want to setup ad scheduling so they will run only during the day without weekends.
When I try to edit them and do that - the button is not clickable (gray).
Anyone knows how to enable it?
Thanks
Alex

In the editing panel under the Budget & Schedule section, make changes to your schedule/budget. In the past you had to make a new campaign and set a fixed budget up front, not sure if you can reverse it now with the current campaigns.

Hi there, hope you are well.
is it better to run 24/7 or optimise for the hours that are shown to be peak hours?
I heard that it may spoil the learning process whenever it ends and restarts again. it may have relearn again each time it becomes active.
appreciate if you have any threads that addresses this point

I can’t imagine FB will punish you because you do day-parting. I mean some companies will seriously use that and I cant imagine they pay more. Unless FB stating that somewhere clearly.
But I must say I never day parted, in general cost arent that high over here during the “shitty” hours.

Yes, any significant change to the campaign could send it back into the Learning Phase. I wouldn't call that a punishment, as that isn't the goal of the Learning Phase. It is where the algorithm is trying to learn what works best for the campaign. The more traffic and conversions you got outside your peak hours, the more impact it could have.
Which kind of goes along with what @
stickupkid said. I would look to see how much was coming in outside of peak hours. If it isn't much, you may just want to leave it alone. If it was a lot, then you may need to decide if the campaign would even be profitable if confined to peak hours.
