[Question] Domains And Redirect To Offer

Hey guys. Been going strong. Lots of knowledge in here.

So this is what I thought.

While doing Native...

...On my advertorial, I will place all other fields of the lander that will redirect to the offer link.

So if I do this with the same domain, the page that the user is reading will load to the offer directly. Not good.

If I get a domain and link it there it will open a new tab field so the user can go back directly to the advertorial if he wants to.

Amiright??

P.S There’s any trick to do that with one domain?

You mean target _blank and target _self?

I'm not sure exactly what are you asking.

What Twinaxe suggested if you use target="_blank" on your link then it will open in new tab/window and goes to the offer.

Of course the domain changes in this way. The only way to remain the domain the same would be to use some kind of iframe, but I do not see any sense there.

I would not worry about domains changing in the URL.

I need some help.

basically, the flow is like this...

I choose an offer from a network, add <tid> to the affiliate link. get postback link from traffic source, create traffic source on Adsbridge with all trackers {clickid} etc. create campaign on Adsbridge.

Then get a lp from a spytool to use. add the lp to my domain. buy another domain, change all the links to the domain name, set up redirecting for the 2nd domain to redirect to affiliate link.

Is this all right?

I get to add the second domain so when someone clicks it gets opened another tab instead of redirecting on same tab.

I am not understanding where to put the tracking link... there will be anything i need to do in order to track correctly since I will use 2 domains? any tips recommendation?

It's a VERY old post. I don't even know if it will work in today's browsers.

As for your original question of showing your landing page AND the offer in the same domain: AFAIK, this isn't possible unless you show the offer page in an iframe - which most offers won't allow (you'd need to check with your AM).
