How to angle pop traffic publisher sites? (3)
Hi guys, just new to the forum.
I have been learning pop traffic for a while. Recently I discovered that besides adult traffic, there are a lot of pop traffic publisher's sites are like watch free movies, download free games, file sharing, torrent...
I'm wondering what's the best angle or offer for advertising on those websites? I know that antivirus might work, what else? I think sweeps is probably not good for these types of websites. And for gaming offers, I think it's good for arcade sites, free game download may be not the case.

Yes, like you mentioned AV offers is one of the best ways for POP-traffic. Also Sweepstakes are so good if you work with POP, so don't ignore them. Most of my profit are coming now from Sweeps.
As for Games, for me games work only with Adult traffic and Adult prelanders. Like "Play with this girl". Unfortunately other offers don't work. May be if you find good 1-click offers it can be profitable. The same with Video offers. PIN flows is hard to make profitable with these verticals. So I would concentrate on Anti-Virus offers and Sweepstakes. It's the best way to get good profit. Especially if you're just starting.
Basically, pop traffic is broad, general traffic - the audience is just the general populace basically.
So the offers need to be broad and not niche. This is why verticals such as sweeps and antivirus (thanks mrbraun!) convert well - everyone likes to win free gadgets and vouchers, and want to protect their devices.
Entertainment offers like mobile games and video subscriptions can work also, as everyone likes to be entertained.
Gambling/Lotto offers can work well too - similar psychology to the masses of people that buy lottery tickets at the local convenience store.
BizOp/Forex/Crypto can work as well. The more misleading the offer, the better it converts. You know the typical "our software will make you money on autopilot while you sleep" offers.
