The Life I'm Working Towards
1. What are your career goals?
My career goals are firstly to never return to a 9 to 5 job. I haven't worked a 9 to 5 since 16 and have no desire to return! I'd had 5 jobs in 3 months.. My long term career goals are fairly simple I'd like to be a profitable affiliate marketer and invest the proceeds into multi family real estate! My goal is to be able to be retired by the age of 35 from real estate cashflow and dividends. I'd also like to acquire multiple passports since my dream is to be a "global citizen"

2. What are your relationship goals?
I met a girl online who I've been with for about 2 years now and she was what got me started with making money online. At 16 I left high school and started doing freelance graphic design(this was a big leap of faith) fast forward to now and I went and met her in person for the first time 3 weeks ago. I'll be going to see her again in December she is from the Caribbean and I'm from the US. We will be moving in together in 9 months in The Netherlands! All this has been made possible due to my location independent income. I'm 19 now turning 20 in a few months but even at 16 I realized if my "internet girlfriend" was ever going to be anything more I'd need location independent income and failing at this would have meant my relationship failing! I think I succeeded in freelance design thanks in part to having no other choice. It's been a immensely pressure filled few years and somehow it has all worked out. Looking forward to the future now that I've made my relationship a reality and not a fairy tale being that I'll be apply for a visa in a few more months I'd like to give my girlfriend the world since she had believed in me when no one else did and stuck around all these years even when I was at the lowest points in my journey to location independent income. I know I wouldn't be where I am now without her.

3. What do you see yourself doing on a day to day basis
Waking up to profitable affiliate marketing campaigns is my next goal! My goal is to hit $1,000 a day from AM within 2 years! Is this a reasonable goal?(I'm brand new to AM) On a day to day basis I'm honestly not sure I'd love to travel more though! I'd like to see more of the world and think AM is a great way to gain me even more income and TIME to be able to do that.

4. If you had an unlimited amount of money what would you buy?
The first thing I would buy is as much cash flowing real estate as possible since my biggest dream is generational wealth! I do not come from a wealthy background, quite the opposite. I'd like if I have children someday for them to never HAVE to work and instead to be able to simply enjoy life and not have their entire world revolve around money and accumulating it like mine has. I always have had a taste for the finer things I love Burberry polos and designer shoes. I would also love to buy my dream car a Lamborghini Aventador SV and prove everyone wrong that I will in fact become a deca millionaire. My "number" is $30,000,000 in assets. Day by day I get closer to my goals, have learned to appreciate the small victories, and accepted that nothing comes without hustle and commitment. I will not get rich over night but I know I will overtime!

Nice goals man, let's revisit these in a couple of years

Yes it's possible.
It's all about righ timing and being smart.
When I started as total newbie, it took me around 3-4 months.
Will it be the same for you too? Maybe yes, maybe not.
But it takes just find that 1 killer campaign and scale it up.
Wish you all the best man!

This is really encouraging! Hopefully it’s the same for me haha 3-4 months would be incredible. I’d be happy to hit 3 digits a day in 3 months, 4 digits would be life changing for me. Any tips for a complete noob? I did read the thread about 12 mistakes for noobs to avoid that helped

Thanks for the encouraging words they mean more than you know.

Solid goals you've set for yourself ... let's see if you can achieve them.
As Erik mentioned, it's very well possible to make 1k a day, many people make way more ... but many also never reach profits at all ... it's all about how you attack the biz, your skills, work ethics and a bit of luck
Cheers,
Matej.

Great post man
I love that you want to invest the money back into multifamily real estate- that right there is in my opinion a good sign in and of itself!
If you don't already follow it, check out the real estate investing podcast 'Bigger Pockets'- you'll love it. I spent the last 4 years in that world before transitioning into IM and I definitely think its the best road to long term intergenerational wealth.
On the flip side, I think IM is clearly the best business opportunity today for generating massive amounts of revenue for those willing to work hard enough to succeed at it (hence why I pivoted into it), so I could not agree more on the Internet Marketing > Investment Real Estate plan
Good luck!

You can start reading through Vortex's 40 day guide, she is now updating it these days so should be pretty up to date.
Otherwise, once you settle down for a source and vertical you will have concrete needs and you will start putting things together, so you will know what to search for.
The good thing about STM is that most of the stuff was already discussed, so it easy to find thread about any topic you need

I listen to the bigger pockets podcast frequently and couldn’t agree more I think real estate is the best investment vehicle for generational wealth and I’m hoping AM will help me get more of the capital needed to start in real estate investing. Best of luck to you with internet marketing! It seems we have very similar plans. PM me if you ever want too talk I’d love to get to know people off STM better!

That is my plan! One of the first things I checked out on STM after signing up is Vortex 40 day guide. I’m gonna start reading it today and I think I will start a follow along thread once I’ve read through it once and am ready to begin setting everything up for my first campaign! Thanks a ton for all of the help.

Designing LPs and Banners should be the easiest part of this for me since I am a freelance graphic designer but everything else is new too me! Glad you liked the photos in my post!

Could you share your design portfolio? Just curious to check it out, you can PM me too if you don't want to reveal it across the forums.
I do a split between design and performance marketing 50/50 and have been doing it ever since I was a few years younger than you.
I don't believe in luck, instead, I believe that you create your own luck by working hard, smart and not letting emotions take the best of you when times get rough. So good luck on your journey!

I’m determined to at least make profit and we’ll see where things go from there! Thanks for the kind words.

Good stuff Trevor man - You're a bold young man with tonnes of universal potential flowing your veins!
It's good to see you're striking some form of balance in relationships and career at your age, make sure you find some good time to enjoy with your mates too
Just keep progressing in whatever ways you can, learn to fail, fail often, fail forward get out the kinks when you're young and no doubt come mid 30's you'll be on total cruise control in your SV (If by then you like older cars
- but I think the raw sound of those V12's will never get old lol)
Anyway bud, take advantage of the welcoming community here and get right into the nitty gritty of stuff once you've some some reading. Don't be disheartened by those early failures, they will happen. I'll be watching out for that first green post

Thanks a ton I can tell STM is very welcoming compared to many other forums I’ve been on. I’ve got lots of reading to do today but I am gonna try to hit the ground running as quick as possible best to learn by doing I’ve figured out. There will always be that one more thing I can read but if I don’t actually ever start I won’t get anywhere! Let’s hope my first green post comes sooner rather than later though I expect to see lots of red to come haha but at least I’ll have figured out how to actually launch a campaign and lose money that’s a start.
