What you have done so far? Started working or just thinking?

Read this - https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...g-2018-Edition

Btw there is no "best" and 1500$ is enough for testing but won't guarantee profits. And welcome to STM.

Welcome cpaboss41!

Leadclock gave you a great recommendation to start with What's working in Affiliate Marketing 2018 edition.

To get more detailed answers, let us know more about your background.

Regarding your budget ... I recommend you not to get in mindset "I have $1500 testing budget and I need to break-even before I spend it all." This will kill your creativity and put too much pressure at work.

What verticals you would like to run? what geos? what type of traffic?

PUSH traffic seems to be a good fit for smaller budgets these days, I just posted a case study about it couple days ago : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ffic-campaigns

I used a particular traffic source for it, but there are more out there to try, so you don't have to use the one I did. Check this thread for ideas : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ork-Experience

As for verticals, these are the most promoted on PUSH : Sweeps, Loans, Casino, Sports betting, Binary, Lead gen, Regular and Mobile app Dating.

Whats up man! Like suggested above, $1500/budget is on the low end these days and there is no guarantee of making it work. Affiliate marketing is a strange game, it comes with the romance of it being easy but there is quite a larger entry level then years before to make it work, as the industry has evolved a lot.

But its still enough of course to get a base going, but you hopefully have other income to support your life and continue to save to "invest in yourself" with avenues like affiliate marketing. The only thing harder about $1500 is the cashflow problems, finding appropriate networks to pay you regularly even on low volumes and also keeping a tight ship on server/tracker overheads.

Definitely take the route Matuloo suggested, but keep in mind having additional income and savings to keep you going into the future, its not easy but its completely doable and you can still make a very good income with this industry but its not as easy as having $1500 where do I go, its gonna be a rollercoaster ride Welcome to AM haha

Another option would be SEO. This very recent tutorial can help you get started:

SEO will take more time to set up, but the investment is less than buying paid traffic.

Have fun!
