Increase Quality on Pop Traffic? (21)

Increase Quality on Pop Traffic?

I have been running dating on pops for quite a while but I keep running into the issue that the offer needs to be paused because the quality is too low.

The websites I target are the more well known ones so I am assuming the visits are genuine visitors.

The landers I use are mainly the question landers with 3-5 questions.

What can I do to improve the quality?

1. filter out corperate ips and unkown => you block then vultr, digital ocean etc.
2. filter out bad browser language that isn't language in your geo
3. filter out wrong geos
4. filter out proxys
5. filter out bad devices you didnt target on campaign

your leads will go donw but quality increase and the payout will do too

Dating can be hard on Pops.
The dating advertisers usually are pretty strict with the quality anyway so Pops are not the first choice for this vertical.
What you can do is to try to make the landers attractive for older men because they usually have higher value for advertisers.
Or you could run dating on CPA or Rev share.

Wow, I wasnt aware that you can filter out proxies and ISP traffic via Binom!

Would you suggest to implement this targeting at the traffic source(geo, language, browser) or do this within Binom?

I already target language (local language) and remove bad browsers(Webview etc..) but would it be good to do this at tracker level as well?

In addition to that, what do you do with the filtered out traffic? Send them to some smartlink of some sort?

You create the rules in the tracker.
In the end you don't target for example bot traffic yourself on the trafficsource but you still receive it.
So it doesn't matter what you target on the trafficsource, you will get some unwanted traffic.
That's why you filter it out in your tracker.

Yes if traffic source allows it always set browser language and if mobile only mobile browsers so no opera etc. shit

Is there a list available to block ISP like digital ocean, culture and such?

Thanks for the replies guys!

I have created some rules in Binom now:

1. If country is not target country > Send to smartlink
2. If device is not target device > Send to smartlink
3. If language is not target language > Send to smartlink
4. If traffic is Proxy > Send to smartlink

Perhaps also ask what they mean with low quality. There is big difference in sending mickey mouse leads (so fake names, adresses for example) or real leads, but it doesn't convert as they used to. Also ask advertiser how they follow up etc.

I think this part is very important to understand what's going on exactly and act on it properly.

Great idea! I have never actually asked them what was wrong with the leads.

Well, "wrong leads" usually means they are not buyers

Ah so it is a standard option in Binom? I thought I had to add my own lists!

Thanks man!

>>> Edit

I am able to find Unknown in the list but Corporate is not showing up for me?

Good advices for increase the quality of leads (y)

In other side be aware if you block some of this parameters, you leave money on the table. I work on revshare campaigns and all this parameters make money with less competitions

in the space of Dating, Quality controls everything.
Because you can send them real leads as much as they would ask for.
but what they mean by quality is that they can't convert them from LEADS---> Buyers. so they stop the offer for you.
first thing you need to understand that this is a part of the game, and don't let it be the reason to exit.
secondly. in the Dating vertical , POPS traffic is the worst so if you have a good budget i suggest you to go more with Display,Native traffic .
there you can push good amounts of leads and fairly good quality to advertisers. then you start to scale the winning campaigns to the best quality sources, as Member areas traffic, or EMAIL..

GOOD LUCK
