Has anyone tested it compared to Binom/funnelflux/Voluum?

If you've used Voluum then RedTrack won't be a issue for you! and they're very new in this tracking industry so expect some bugs/problem here and there.

I heard good things about RedTrack, didn't try it myself but people seem to enjoy the solution. So I wouldn't worry to check it out in case you're looking for a new tracking solution.

I signed up to for a free trial but while playing around I noticed a few things.

- There is quite a bit of lag in the system: Sometimes it takes ages for the Campaigns page to load.
- Savings made in the campaigns setup are not saved or are not reflecting in the Campaign url.
- https:// is not standard so you need to tick a box for every campaign you setup.

Apart from that I do quite like their interface and the fact that it is cloud hosted.

I hope @vladzh and his team will try to fix these issues. Anyways as i said it's a new company so there will be some bugs...

Thanks for your feedback about RedTrack.io
- we did have performance issues early December - but they should be gone by now. If you still experience them - please let us know more - we will investigate.
- https by default is something we will add to profile settings, great suggestion

This one "Savings made in the campaigns setup are not saved or are not reflecting in the Campaign url" - this one leaves me puzzled. Can you please explain more? We can ride on this thread or go to PM

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

- The performance issues occured Yesterday, so it was not the beginning of december. Pages get stuck on loading for quite a while and things seem to take longer then they are supposed to.

Let me explain a bit more on the Saving issues, I faced them in two versions:

V1: I set up a campaign with a direct link and click save and close. I then go back into the campaign and add a lander.. I click save and close but when I return to the campaign no lander has been added.

V2: I set up a campaign with a direct link and click save and close. I then go back into the campaign and add a lander...I click save and copy the campaign url. When I visit the tracking url in my browser it still works as a direct link and not with a lander.

Basically the system is not saving changes made..This is a big issue for me as I work with a lot of campaigns and I would like to have peace of mind knowing that when I click save the campaign works the way I intended it to work without having to double check every change I made.

The behaviour you describe is definitely not normal. Can you please PM me your account id or so I can assign a team to investigate and fix it?

Will PM you straight away, thanks!

I am not a technical person. I always have a problem in setting up postback URL. I feel comfortable using Voluum and then I changed to Thrive Tracker, I didn't felt comfortable and now I am using Redtracker its working smooth for me.

@anizz14 - thanks for your feedback, we do work hard to keep things simple although it is getting more difficult as a scope of product grows
@erosen
- we released a fix for the issue you described regarding "save" yesterday
- today we are publishing the update that should remove those occasional interface slowdowns you mentioned.

Thanks for the swift action, I will login later Today and have a look and report back.

I just checked it and the issue with saving campaigns is still happening.

It looks like the link is being cached or something so no matter what change I make to a campaign it will still show the old link.

Hi,

I am sorry and embarrassed to hear that. Working to find the reason.
Will get back with updates.

Updates: lets have a screen-sharing session - I checked your account personally and it works for me. So it would be great if you can show me your experience. My skype is zhovtenko

Just wanted to let everyone know that all of the issues I mentioned above were swiftly fixed by RedTrack.

Great support, thanks!

RedTrack reminds me of Voluum when they were new; insanely good customer service and support and you talk direct to the decision makers so shit gets done FAST.

RedTrack is super fast to fix bugs you find, and also to implement awesome new features you request.

As a company grows too big, things have to go through different channels, and levels of a pyramid which ruins the experience for customers. People say this about Google, Facebook, heck even employees complain about this anonymously on Quora.

Right now redtrack is awesome awesome to work with. Highly recommended.

Does that mean you've had troubles using VLM lately? If yes, I need to know about it to solve it so it doesn't happen again. Recently, VLM's doing a lot to improve our customers' experience - to use STM as an example, I'm available on the forum specifically to hear you out, engage, reply and help and then act on what I learn to induce changes within the company.

*VLM = Voluum

You know what's been bugging me regarding voluum since day 1? When I list campaigns, then open the report for some of them, the "Campaigns" button disappears. So when I want to go back to the campaigns list, I need to click "Home" and then "Campaigns" again ... and any possible filtering get's reset too. Would be nice if you could keep the "Campaigns" button in place all the time... It's not a super big issue, but it's still getting on my nerves a bit, so to speak

On a side note, I'm glad you are way more active on the forums now

Glad you're mentioning it because now that I've checked how it works from your (user's) perspective - it makes so much sense to change it and make it more convenient. I'll talk it through with out Product Development. Once I have any feedback from them, is it okay if I PM you to consult it further?

You're all very welcoming here which makes my work that much easier and likeable!

Hey, thank you for the nice words. One of my mentors / CEOs I worked for while doing US b2b explained a lot about the value of transparency and customer service. By example. So just do what we believe in. Feel free to save this post and refer to it if you`ll feel we are changing in a bad way.
