The Affiliate Contacts Directory (10)
In 2013, MrGreen started this very useful thread, where he put together a list of skype contacts from the various affiliate networks:

Various network reps would then leave their contact info in the thread, asking to be added to the list, and once in a while someone from the mods and admins team would update the list.
Eventually though other forum improvements took priority and that directory became outdated due to neglect.
Last month I decided to update that list - started from the requests on page 9 and worked backwards - and when I looked up, it was over an hour later, and I was only on page 7.
So I thought to myself, "this isn't working out - there must be a better way!"
Long story short, after some brainstorming and a chat with our very talented dev, and hours of programming - we came out with a much-improved replacement...
INTRODUCING....the AFFILIATE CONTACTS DIRECTORY:

This is superior to the previous directory in several ways:
1)Every vendor member can add/edit their own contact information directly - no more having to wait on moderators to update the database. And each entry will be automatically labeled with the member's STM username.
2)We're now including not just affiliate networks, but also traffic networks and any tooling/service providers (relevant to the affiliate network industry).
3)The database includes more than just contact information. Affiliate networks can specify their strong verticals, and traffic networks can specify the kind(s) of traffic they have available. This can be very useful to affiliates that are looking to run more offers in a certain vertical, or looking for more networks that have the type of traffic they're running.
NOTE: The directory can only be accessed by active STM members that are logged into the forum! And each entry can only be edited by the original creator. This will ensure that the contact information won't be scraped and used for spamming purposes.
Over the next while I'll be encouraging vendor members to feed their info into the database - please bear with all my reminders, as the database would be useless without more information!
And if you're a representative of a vendor - please kindly insert your info! This will result in great promotion for your company by helping other members to find you.

Very nice, love the idea of this open directory.
Just one thing, when I see those "raw" emails.
I'm afraid that once it gets indexed, spammers will hit them hard, same about adding new records.
Otherwise, great intiative, much more easier to navigate & search than in the previous forum threads version.

In response to Erik's concerns: Only STM members that are LOGGED INTO THE FORUM can access the directory. Also, each member only has edit rights to their own entry - the exception being mods and admins, who can modify any entry. Nice reminders though!!

EDIT: I was trying to verify the part about having to log into the forum to access the directory - and found a glitch - apparently I WAS still able to access the directory without logging in! This has just been fixed - thanks so much for voicing that concern that prompted us to take a second look!
