How are you using your spy tools?
So I have an Adplexity subscription, and I feel like maybe I don't dive in as extensively as I should.
Basically I use it to rip landing pages that I later modify, and also check out what types of banners/angles seem to be working.
So more just for LPs and banner "inspiration" that I use in my own campaigns.
I don't actually drill down and analyze what banner/lp/offer people are running where, as I feel like there is usually more to the story than that when it comes to profitable campaigns (maybe I should?)
Just curious to how you guys are using Adplexity (or other spy tool) in your campaigns.
Thanks

How do you figure which offer is behind a lander?
I can circle it kind of by seeing which AN is used and sometimes I see in the lander URLs a good hint for the offer name...
but is there also proofen way to figure out the offer? besides completly emulating the user that is targeted with vpn + browser emulation and clicking through on the lander..

We're using it to get some ideas for new angles and find new offers and trends.

This for sure as well as lander flows - and also I tend to get stuck in the way of my thinking in terms of attacking campaigns with angles/adcopies that we run until profit starts to fade it can sometimes be hard to see outside that box so seeing other affiliates approaches opens up possibilities.
Lots of creative inspiration use, one thing about spytools which I know is common sense but not everything on spytools is gonna make you money, it captures all ads, you may think it looks good but we've had heaps of campaigns show up on tools that completely bombed out for us but looked great on appearance lol

This is something I worry about too Maynzie as I too see a lot of banners/landers of mine that show up that I know totally bombed lol.
So sometimes when I look at whats out there in the back of my mind I think "damn this creative could be total trash" lol

I've noticed that sometimes when I try to find specific affiliate products on the spytools (or at least the one single spytool I use)- on natives specifically- there are products/offers I would have bet my arm would be getting lots of sales through natives that I can't find at all.
For instance a lot of the top Max Bounty products I can't find on the native sptyool- mostly just the big VSL's on there but I can't find many of their cpa offers- and then a lot of the top Clickbank products aren't on there either.
Not that every top CB or MB product automatically has to be getting native traffic, but was just interesting/surprising.

Spy tools are not perfect! Most of the affiliates who are running big traffic volumes, uses techniques to hide their campaigns from spy tools. Use them to understanding and finding new angles and for ripping some banners and landers.
